To be fair the rooms are clean and spacious and the hotel is located very close to the piste. However, the service and the landlady is extremely rude. ||||We were 3 families traveling together. According to the landlady there were strict rules about this and were not allowed to meet together in the apartments for socializing prior to skiing or dinner. The children were not allowed in the wellness/spa area even though this was not stated on their web site or in any of the written materials we received. ||The hotel has free wifi, however the quality/speed was extremely poor. A few members of our party could not ski every day due to health related issues, which meant that they reached their data cap of 2 GB. Even though they were granted more data for free, this was not without comments about how very strange it was to stay at ski resort without skiing every day. Lastly it was not possible to take a bath in their wellness/spa after the last day of skiing prior to our long trip home.||On top of this we were overcharged €35 compared to the initial booking. We were initially preregistered as 3 adults and 1 child at the initial booking. However, when the final payment was due at check out we where erroneously charged for 4 adults (€35) which they would...
Read moreWe can highly recommend Tiroler Adler for a pleasant stay in Soelden. It is a very quiet friendly familydriven establishment. They gave us good service and did their outmost to give us a pleasant stay. We didnt notice any of the bad service mentioned by some other guests. Spacious, clean room with a large balcony overlooking the village. ||Very good breakfast with a variety of options to eat and drink. You get freshly made scrambled or fried egg with bacon (also boiled egg are available). This is a appartement hotel with no meals except breakfast served, but there is a very good italian restaurant next door (remember cash – they dont take creditcard?) ||To get to the ski slopes you need to walk 3-400 meters and from there you glide down to the Giggijock gondola. The hotel has a very nice ski room where you can have your skiing equipment in a locker that is locked with the same keycard you use on your room. ||Its a fast 10 minute walk down to the main street. Expect to use at least 20 to get back (its a steep hill). You can also use the free gondola service from main street to Phillipp restaurant, which is at approximately the same height. The gondola runs untill 24:00 in the evening. Taxi from village center to...
Read moreAlthough the hotel is clean, has all basic facilities needed & is well located, I would strongly advice against staying here if you are looking for a fun time in Sölden. Never have I met staff that was this rude, unwelcoming and showed such lack of flexibility towards guests.||||We rented an appartement with 3 bedrooms and a sofabed for a 7th single person in our group. Upon arrival it turned out the sofabed was placed in one of the bedrooms and we were yelled at by the owner for wanting to move the bed into the living area. No alternative solution was possible so our friend slept on the couch for the entire holiday.||||At breakfast, we were barely greeted and were yelled at again for wanting to sit together with our group. We needed to sit at two separate tables across the breakfast area.||||We were yelled to and insulted to be arrogant & rude when we wanted to pay at the end of the holiday because the owners felt it was already too late in the evening.||||I simply cannot believe how a hotel can be ran by people that show such disrespect towards their guest from the moment they walk...
