We booked through Crystal. A more expensive option than we would usually go for. The rooms were excellent, spacious and well laid out. We were in a triple room. It had a bath and a shower, with 2 basins. Good TV, table and a couple of chairs. Plenty of cupboard space, though they could have had a few more hooks around for jackets etc. Also a kettle and coffee or tea set up n the room would be good. Other than that, very comfortable. The room had spare towels for you to use in the sauna and steam room . Good showers and additional towels in there, along with a relaxation area. Learn about German sauna culture. We were " learned" about it by some Germans in there on our first visit! Talking in German saunas isn't a thing, though the Swedes in attendance were okay with it. The pool area was excellent. Around 15m by 6m. A depth of 1.3m. With loungers and a small shower are. Very clean and well appointed. The food was absolutely excellent, as was the service. Starters, soup, house salad, mains and desserts. I am celiac and the staff took great care of me, and the options I had for dessert made my healthier chums jealous. You order your drinks as you arrive. We enjoyed the house red, at 35€ a bottle. Tania and her friendly attentive staff made meal times very enjoyable. The carvery night was excellent. There is a roomy boot room, with plenty of space and boot drier rack. The hotel run a courtesy bus to the lifts in the morning between 8 and 10.30. It's a down hill walk, but the service is a life saver for ski boot wearers. The hotel is a stop on the local ski bus service as well, so getting back up at night is really easy. The hotel has a very pleasant bar area. There are some games available and if you listen, good sounds playing. For us the drinks were a little expensive, or they would have seen far more of us. Disappointingly, there was no breakfast provision for us on the last day, with our pick up bring at 06.40. So what we had left ourselves had to keep us going until Innsbruck, 1. 5 hours away. A great choice of hotel to stay in if you are in St Anton. A few minor things, but overall, a good place to stay if you are looking for a well-appointed hotel catering for the more discerning mountain sports...
Read moreABSOLUTELY DISGUISTING !! Stay away !! First of all the doors are not fit for purpose somesone can get into your room so easy, the lady owner was so rude, with no customer satisfaction, charged £350 to fix a door that was already broke, they said once paid we can have our origional room back on the Monday as it was a Saturday when it broke however we never got it back we got the worst room in the hotel after we paid for better one, then the room they had put us in had been repaired with glue I’ll show yous in pictures, all the staff are ignorant and rude ! We’re happy to sell us drinks at a high cost in the hotel but if we weren’t in hotel and come in drunk they went mad and tried to fine us £100, it was such a bad experience that crystal themselves refunded part of the money after seeing the pictures, they have a big German Shepard walking around you whilst eating your food, utterly not acceptable, the room got cleaned once in the full week and if you ran out of toilet paper you had to go to reception!! Asked for safe key as door was so easy to get into but they didn’t have any for any of the 5 rooms we booked, so carried our money passports and valuables with us everywere we went Out of the 5 rooms we had 4 of the doors had previously been broke and glued, yes glued back on, whoever thinks a chipboard architrave with the lock fixed into it is suitable for people to stay and leave there belongings in especially in a ski resorts as most equiptment is a fortune, is a joke . Oh and it’s funny how when the door happned on a Saturday the owner promised we would have the room back on Monday as there “joiner” doesn’t work weekends but the room never got fixed and we never got movedc however on the Saturday we were waiting in reception before leaving the...
Read moreThis hotel was a joke me and my 12 friends booked it for a skiing trip when we got ther we all went to our 6 rooms we booked when trying the door to open the door wouldnt open so went down 2 times because door wouldnt open 3rd time trying the door went green so pushed the door and lock felt out of frame and broke because they are fitted wrong into the chipboard door lining which they should be in the door frame. So i go down stairs and explain to them about the door so the owner comes up and demanded 350 euro for piece of cheap wood so i refused to pay that much so they phoned the police to come and take the money off me to fix the door so i had to pay for it so we asked to put us in a room with 2 beds for me and my friend and when they took us to the new room they put a fold up bed with a skinny mattress on top which i had to sleep in for a full week we asked them to fix the door what we payed for and the upgraded room we payed for to get fixed so we could go back in ther and on the day we wer leaving the door got fixed. Two of my friends were sick for 2 days off the food because the food was rotten the meats were tough the breakfast food was up ther with the worst iv ever had. When we would come in on a night after skiing we would go for a couple of drinks and they were kicking off at us for drinking and tryed to demand another 100 euros off us for making abit of noise down stairs when we come in which i told them to piss off. The lady who owns the hotel is vilest person iv ever laid my eyes on shes rude to everyone in hotel so if ur willing to stay hear dont take anything valuable because the rooms locks and easy to push open and i have proof because 4 rooms out the 6 we had the locks have all been fixed...
