CheckVienna – Apartment Haberlgasse — Hotel in Vienna

I stayed here for a couple of nights with 2 friends (18) during Christmas time. Overall we were pleased with the stay and would come here again. Below find a more detailed breakdown:

Cleanliness : 5/10 - not clean but not dirty.

Facilities : 8/10 - pretty much anything you might need if you are staying a couple of nights. Pots, pans, utensils...

Location/Area : 5/10 - in terms of location it is good, close to bus/tram stops but the area is run down and the building is not taken care of. The entrance leading to the apartment had a strong cigarette smell and there were even cigarette butts outside the apartment.

Value for money : 8/10 - price was great for the apartment...

The apartment is perfect for a couple visiting vienna, however, we visited in late september 21-27 and it was kind of cold inside. After 2 days we discovered the problem: The door has a 1 cm gap from the floor and all the cold gets inside😂. We solved the problem with a towel tucked between the door and the floor and a small heat radiator fan thing we found in the closet, which was really convenient. After this, the apartment gets at a comfortable temperature and everything is good! To be honest im sorry for the 4* review but i decided to write it anyway thinking that the host might see it and better seal the door with a step...

Nice apartment, in an old complex. Not amazing but it was worth the money. No ac, so it does get hot and the shower doesn't get super warm. Beds were decent. Has small kitchenette and fridge and pull out bed and regular bed. Studio size. The apartment is secure, so felt safe. The host was great and available if needed. Would recommend even with...
