FRYZ — Local services in Vienna

If you’re into fried chicken, Fryz is the place to be. It’s a small takeaway joint, but don’t let that fool you—these guys are serving up some of the best fried chicken in Vienna, and the steady crowd outside is proof of that.

We went for Combo #1, which comes with two jumbo chicken tenders, fries, and a ridiculously soft brioche bread that just melts in your mouth. The tenders? Absolute perfection. Crispy on the outside, unbelievably tender and juicy inside—just the way proper fried chicken should be. We also went for their signature fried chicken burger, and that special sauce they use? Unreal. It’s creamy, tangy, and adds just the right kick to the crispy, flavourful chicken. And if you like it spicy, they’ll heat things up for you.

To top it off, we couldn’t resist the loaded fries—a glorious mess of crispy fries, sliced chicken tenders, jalapeños, and that magic sauce again. It’s indulgent, messy in the best way, and absolutely worth it.

Fryz operates out of a tiny space, but they know what they’re doing. Quality ingredients, crispy perfection, and bold flavours—they stick to what they do best, and they do it right. There’s even a small outdoor seating area if you don’t want to take your feast to go.

Bottom line? If you love fried chicken, you owe it to yourself to eat...

Was there on a weekday late night at 11.30pm with about 3 big loud groups ahead of us in queue so ordering took awhile, since they had many orders.

The service staff was really fast and efficient however, and served us really politely and with a smile despite being really busy. Once it got quieter, they assured me that my order was being prepared now as we were waiting in the cold dark night.

We got the burger combo with buffalo ranch burger, and it was piping hot and fresh from the fryer. The fried chicken breast patty was tender and not over-fried, and the seasoning and sauce were all perfect and went well together. The fries were also well salted and fried, and came with a habanero ranch sauce that was amazing.

Me and my boyfriend come really often because it’s nicely seasoned and I like the side sauce they give. Sadly already on multiple occasions my order was raw or not cooked through, my boyfriends order is always good and so I just put it aside and just assume I’m scared that it’s uncooked due to different experiences. Now, I understand you wanna keep it juicy but this could still walk. Rather than offering me the new burgers should’ve said take a friend home.
