The worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my life. I paid 75€ for a room on Thursday night after arriving in the city, no one was at the front desk so I used the automat to book the room. The room was in a horrible state, the sheets were dirty as was the bathroom, someone must have slept in there before. Towels on the floor.... I asked for explanations and to be reimbursed the next day to the person in charge of the place but she told me that she could not do anything for me because her cleaning lady Manuela said she had cleaned the room and accused me of lying even after I showed her photos with the exact time of the reservation of the room. In short avoid this hotel at all costs. I then went to the Meinninger hotel in town which for the same price met my expectations. A shame, I would ask Ibis for explanations.

The hotel was a bit of a disappointment compared to Ibis hotels in other countries. There were spiderwebs and spiders in the room. I wouldn't recommend the hotel breakfast. It was practically nothing. The eggs were cold, and the bread was hard and didn't look fresh. It's not a good breakfast option for families with children. There's an outlet mall very close to the hotel, so you might want to check that out.

During my recent stay at the Ibis Hotel, I found the accommodations to be exceptionally clean, providing a comfortable and hygienic environment. The location was conveniently situated, allowing for an easy 15-20 minute walk to the airport, which greatly simplified travel logistics. The proximity to the airport, paired with the hotel’s cleanliness, made for a stress-free and pleasant stay.

As part of a visit to Austria. I had a booking for the Ibis budget Salzburg Airport Hotel for 1 night on Friday 14th January. With me due to catch a flight there in the morning. ||||The hotel confirmation email offered check in from 1500. I arrived there around then to find the hotel closed. With reception due to open again at 1700, This was not made clear to me. Since I had previous emails asking how to find the hotel. After ringing the door bell, calling the hotel and sending emails. I finally called the other displayed telephone number to be answered by the hotel manager. Who gave me the accès code for the hotel door and the accès code to enter my room. ||||Having checked myself in on a terminal. I'm not sure this is within the spirit of the current Covid regulations, but we are where we are ||||If that was a surprise, there was more to come when I found that the booking did not include breakfast and there was none available for customers. The restaurant is closed ||||This has not been made clear to me in the booking confirmations or my previous emails. I find these actions most strange and asked the hotel Manager for an explanation of the circumstances. The reply was along the lines of I am the only member of staff at the hotel. The price is cheap and the services offered are take it or leave it. If you wantef a better hotel you should have booked a more expensive hotel in the city at a more expensive price Now please leave my hotel. Goodbye.||||I find this attitude from the hotel manager to be most strange and astonishing to say the least. By not supplying the services offered is in my view a breach of contract made with me to stay at the hotel. Since what was advertised was not on offer at the hotel. ||||I have asked the Salzburg City Council who license the hotel to comment on the hospitality of the hotel and, await their comments on the matter The breakfast times at the Hotel were also advertised and noted on my invoice and did not take place during my visit. |||| This is not the type of welcome the hotel should extend to its customers and I certainly would not consider another visit. Never mind recommending it to...

I stayed here in February with my father. It's located 10mins walk away from Salzburg airport. There is a bus stop 5 min walk away from the hotel. The bus stop is on the main road towards the airport and opposite the shopping mall. You can catch the number 2 or 10 which will take you into the airport then into salzburg main train station. From here you can walk to the old town/cathedral etc or get the 150 bus to St. Gilgen which is on Wolfgang lake, a nice day out.||||The staff at the hotel were very friendly and nice, check in was smooth. The rooms were nice spacious, clean and warm. They had 2 towels and 2 soaps. They included a TV with a few English speaking news channels. The beds were very comfy, showers were great with very hot water. ||||We had breakfast on both mornings and it was good value/tasty. It was a buffet style and included the following bread+toaster, rolls, slices of cheese/ham, cheese triangles, cereals, muesli, pate, boiled eggs, yogurts, jams/honey, juices and a bean to coffee machine. You could help yourself to as much as you wanted and was of good quality. ||||Near to the hotel were a few supermarkets, eateries, mcdonalds and burgerking. ||||I would recommend this hotel for its convenience and proximity to the airport. The staff were great to. Many...
