OYO 112 Semiramis Hotel — Hotel in Bahrain Island

Worst experience. The receptionist AHMED (Pakistani) is extremely RUDE. I don’t understand why he got the job as a receptionist. Receptionists are supposed to be warm and welcoming, treats customers such as myself with respect and courtesy, but he doesn’t seem to know this. He mistakenly confused me as a visitor and yelled at me to stay in the visitor’s lounge. I was furious of his approached. Who wouldn’t, right? I told him I am the guest at the hotel and he can double check his records but he wouldn’t listen and continue to yell at me in front of many people. I told him that the guy with us is the visitor and he is just dropping us by and he will return to KSA afterwards. I asked why he raised his voice at me in front of many people where he could have asked me NICELY. But he tried to blame it on me and changed the subject. Clearly, this guy does not know a thing or two about guest-relations or customer service.

You should think twice...

The hotel facility was bad. Bad in sense of tidiness. And this is critical during Covid19 situation! You cant put lives at risk by offering rooms that were recently used and werent cleaned and sanitized properly.

The bed sheet looked like used one. The blanket had weird dirt marks and i even saw a bug running out of it. Cockroaches were also spotted.

The water pressure was too low.

Also, the helper wasnt wearing mask.

I am giving one star only because the employees were friendly and helpful.

I am certain that this place is good to distribute corona virus. Worried and praying for myself.

Recommendation: make a horror movie there like THE SHINNING, earn money and renovate this property...

Or in other words a brothel literally. I was taken to the room by one of the guys working in the hotel. As I entered the room he entered with me, took a box of tissues and started writing behind it: The nationality of the sex worker, rate and room number!! I was like this is for What, he said this is for my fun for the night. I said these are all kept by the Hotel or they are just at their will? The guy replied they are hired by the Hotel to provide full satisfaction to the customers. I was so disgusted that I picked my bags up and just left....
