Hotel Skypark — Hotel in Sylhet Division

We got a double bed ac room for 2 nights and the ac did not work the first night. We went to the hotel late and I just fell asleep after turning the AC on and didn't realize it was not working. I woke up in the middle of the night because of how hot it was. The next day we complained and they gave us a different room but that wasn't a two bed room but a single large bed room. Which was a problem because I had a kid share room with me and it was not comfortable sharing bed with a kid who moves a lot while sleeping. The ac worked fine in the 2nd room though but they still charged us full price for the 2 bed rooms for both nights.

Also, even though they put a notice that said the lift and gate will be opened at 6 am, they did not do so. We had a bus at 7 am and left out rooms at 6.30 and saw that everything was shut off. We had to carry our luggage down from the 5th floor and when we reached the main gate, it was closed. There was no one awake at the time to talk to either. After waiting 5 minutes and calling the receptionist on his phone, he came and opened the gate for us. The room service was always slow as well. But not too slow. Even the wifi was difficult to get since it looked like only one of them knew the passwords and for some reason it was not the receptionist coz he gave me the wrong password when I asked.

Hotel Skypark located at center of town. 0 Km is count from its place. There are different view point to see a hotel. Our trip was planned based on exploring of different places at day time and staying hotel only for sleeping purpose. Based on that, this hotel is very good as per its location. ||- CNG (reserve / share) is the main vehicle to travel in Sreemangal and this hotel is very near to main CNG station in the town.||- For the food lovers, this hotel also best suited. Panch bhai, Panshi, Kotumbari, Satkora restaurant are in walking distance from it place.||- It is very basic hotel. We have chosen AC room (Room No# 205). It was neat & clean with free WiFi. It was good for me & my wife. Rent was BDT 2500.00/night.||- Hotel stuffs were good and very friendly. They guide us to select different places as per best timing. We had a problem about check out timing & our train (Parabot) timing. Checkout time was 12 noon and train at Sreemangal station at 5 pm. They had offered us to provide a room for 2 hours without any charge. It was really helpful for us.||- Another important facility is, train station is in walking distance from this hotel.
