Stayed 9 Nights. 3rd Floor. Air con didnt feel as cold as expected as it was in corner probably would have been better in a non air con room. They have a restaurant downstairs but on request they always bought it up to our room. Breakfast in the morning was the best! soo delicious and complimentary on air con rooms. Always had hot water and water didn't run out which was good. Electricity went a few times over the course of my stay. Fresh Bedsheets changed on request daily.
Now the negatives!
Firstly the gym was under construction which was annoying. They said they offer laundry service but it was 3rd party who do it and they charge 70 Taka per piece of clothing which is way too much! We ended up washing our own clothes and it dried within hours due to the 29 degree temperature. Builders were fixing the window next to our room without telling us so we had to shut the curtains during day time which was annoying because I was with my wife. you can see this on the pic I have posted. Most of the staff keep putting the phone down before you can finish asking anything. Poor customer service as expected. Food itself wasn't too bad but really expensive better going out to the town as everything is local.
The bit that ruined my whole stay was when we went out for shopping, only for our emergency contact to receive a phone call to say that we have left without paying! He was fuming. Especially when we suggested to pay all our stay up front but they said not to! I had to go speak to the owner foyez ludhi about what happend. He bought the manager down and they were apologizing saying it was a misunderstanding and that we take payments every 3 days but why would you ask us for a payment when you knew that we have gone out shopping and have left all our suitcases in our room? And could you not have asked us whilst we was still in the hotel?
If you stay on 3rd floor the only guy worth tipping is Rokib! He was the only one who had time to answer...
Read moreThey are better described as cheater supreme.Whoever would go to Sylhet, avoid Hotel Supreme as they take price for one room and force to stay in lower quality room. For food charges more than price list.No specifications about vat amount and many room category to confuse customer.Keeping aside their rough behavior, uncleanliness, bad odored rooms and slow service, the most extreme part is their tendency of bluffing out money with forcible attitude. We were too tired after visiting Bisanakandi when they tried to forcefully shift us to a small room behaving as local thugs. They kept forcing us till I shouted out that I won't pay them rest of the payment..Also they lied that our room was booked for another customer and given to us mistakenly, as after my refusal to payment they let us stay in that room. They charged 5000tk for two rooms and in their list one couple deluxe was 1800tk and another was super deluxe priced 2150 tk.After mentioning that they took away the price list. For a couple room everything from towels to soaps should be provided in pairs as price is paid for Two persons. They don't know these manners.also they provided a broken mug in washroom which can't hold water. We asked for air freshener and they were so late as if they needed to buy it from...
Read moreHotel supreme is actually a very good spot for friends and family to stay while they travel to sylhet. They have there own tour guide and cars to help you travel to different places like bichanakandhi ratar kul, jaflong lalakhal tamabil, and many more like sreemangal. Hotel Supreme also has a very good morning breakfast and probably the only hotel to take room service calls till 1am in the morning and again at 7am. There restaurant exotica is probably one of the finest of them all in sylhet city. They allow non married couples, this is the most important thing for people traveling with friends, one problem we have faced is that due to the ethnic background of the people in sylhet they don't allow non married couples to stay in most hotels of sylhet city. One recommendation from me would be that try to take a room on the 4th floor as they have a very big varanda and a smoking zone in that floor. One advise to anyone and everyone visiting hotel supreme would be that the rates are vastly bargainable and can vary if asked for discounts. All in all, other then the crowded location of the hotel it is one of the fines hotels of sylhet city with in a budget...
