Hospitality of staff — EXTREMELY CORDIAL— each & everyone — from reception to dining, housekeeping to porter & guards.

Bed, pillow & blanket covers — Freshly laundered, replacing daily — was quite ok even for a VERY sensitive allergy-prone person like me.

Amenities — Adequate & enough, providing tea maker, cups, spoons, teabags (ginger & green tea of KK), sugar packs, water bottles, tissue, afternoon snacks (apple, banana, chips), towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel — all complimentary, replacing daily.

AC — Central AC, with wall fitted digital display regulator. (To Hotel authority — smokers’ should NOT be allowed to smoke in rooms. Otherwise the bad odor circulates in other rooms via the central AC vents.)

Refrigerator — yes, present, although not big to keep a 2 liter bottle.

Hangers + safe locker + slippers in almira — yes, present.

Breakfast— Complimentary, every item is really good, particularly the sweet items & juices. (And yes, only the bread needs to be improved — must be more moist & softer).

Room service from dining — Yes — 24 HOURS — whenever & whatever you want to eat, just call them by bed side phone, order the food from the menu already kept there, and guess what — you’ll get a knock at your door moments later with all the items — freshly prepared, nicely covered with plastic wrappers, providing plates & spoons. When you are done eating, just ring them again and immediately they’ll take all the dishes from your room !

Room size — that’s only where my expectation was not met. I thought it’d be much more spacious — like the one they showed in their website. To hotel authority — you should post photos of standard couple room and premium couple room separately,...

We chose this hotel due to close proximity to family residing in the area. The hotel is warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly, polite and courteous. The rooms are ok size for a city based hotel and were clean and well kept. ||A few things to note:||1 key card per room isn't suitable, it's ideal to have 2 as adults sharing are not always coming and going together, so it's not practical.||There was a shortage of towels - this is really unacceptable for a city hotel, we had to repeatedly request bath towels for the number of occupants in the room.||Buffet breakfast - if you're there at the beginning, great! If not, items do not get replenished often and staff don't often understand requests, so will say yes to things that do not then appear. Perhaps it might appeal to more people if you have some cereal options for children or croissants/pastries as not everyone wants to eat curry at breakfast particularly if you catering to foreign and international guests.||Hotel housekeeping were on hand and helpful.||Overall a good hotel in an excellent location for exploring Sylhet. ||||A few improvements that will vastly improve the experience of others, please take...
