I visited this hotel as a tour leader with a group of 25 persons, in April 2025 for 3 nights.|This hotel was the big disappointment of all our stay in the Balkan area. |Not to be recommended at all.|Staff are so unprofessional and unfriendly. When in a hotel you have an issue and you refer to the front desk, if the receptionist is not able to manage the situation, they should have a way of contacting the hotel management even if it is not during working hours, on weekends or holidays. I am a professor at the Faculty of Tourism and teach hotel management and have never experienced such bad management. We had many issues, and I stayed a very long time standing at reception trying to find solutions to issues in the hotel and receptionists kept telling me it was not their fault, nor their responsibility. Fine but they should have direct contact of the manager or responsible person with the authority of operating. Receptionist explained to me that they do not have any direct contact with the management???|We arrived at the hotel on the 30th of April and the Air conditioning in the room was not working at all. For a 4 stars hotel it is really not acceptable. Most of our travelers need Air condition and book accordingly in hotels. |At the front desk they explained to us that in Bosnia hotels switch from the winter season ( heating system) to the summer season ( cooling system) the first of May. So, on our arrival the system was not updated yet. Fine, at the reception they promised us that the system would be updated the next day on the 1st of May. The next day nothing was updated. When we came back from our tour in the late afternoon, I tried to find a solution with the reception for more than one hour as my guests were very unhappy of the situation. The receptionist explained that since it was the 1st of May, a holiday the technician didn’t come to update the system …. Isn’t it the case every year that the 1st of May is a holiday? The hotel knew that a group was staying at their premises for 3 nights… They could have prepared this transition and update with a qualified technician prior to the group arrival. In case one technician is off, the hotel management should have a plan B or a Technician on duty to update such a system!|We stayed 2 nights without Air condition and the third night I am even not sure if it worked well as the Air conditioning system in this hotel is very weird only adjustable from the reception and you cannot control it from the room itself…|Dinners and Breakfast are ok. Staff in the restaurant are friendly.|The rooms are large and comfortable but not always very clean. Some guests complained about the cleanliness (found garbage on the floor and basket from prior guests) and some guests had torn bed sheets. |The location of the hotel is acceptable, 15 minutes’ walk from the old city and...
Read moreIf you want to meet the most unfriendly receptionist ever than this is the hotel for you. The tv in my room wasn’t working and I asked the receptionist if this could be fixed. She told me it would be fixed within fifteen minutes, but later I realised that she hadn’t even asked me for the room number. How can you fix a tv without knowing which room it concerns? When I went back to reception the woman was clearly alloyed and was sighing a lot while I just asked if the tv could be fixed. After waiting for a while she let me know the tv couldn’t be fixed. First she offered me another room, but for some unknown reason she withdrew her offer. When I asked her to give my back my passport she literally threw it at me. I was pretty shocked by this behaviour. This woman, who had clearly never had a smile on her face, shouldn’t be working in the hospitality industry. |The tv wasn’t the only thing that wasn’t working in the room, by the way. The phone nor the safe didn’t work either. |WiFi is terrible at the hotel.|Room and bathroom are spacious. Not enough light in the room. Bed and pillow are good. The breakfast buffet was very good. Hairdryer, fridge and coffee and tea making facilities available...
Read moreWas on a group tour with Costsaver/Trafalgar and stayed one night at this hotel. Glad it was only one night. The room was very dim and some pot lights not working. The room was so hot the thermostat read 26 degrees celsius. I could not adjust the a/c and Mostar outside is so hot hot hot! Went down to the front lobby reception to ask them to adjust it. They did check on their computer and said they would lower it a few degrees. When I woke up in the morning the thermostat in the room still was at 26 degrees celsius. That is not right that they regulate the a/c from their front desk to keep it so hot. Not pleasant. I even felt that the lighting in the room got dimmer and dimmer as it got later. Even the light in the hallways in the early evening are off and only come on when there is movement. The only nice thing about this hotel was our group had an included buffet dinner at their hotel restaurant. The food was very good. A lot of choice meat, chicken, fries...
