English version: We had a very disappointing experience at Restaurant Mystic. My friends and I traveled from Sweden and visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from our Bosnian friend. Upon arrival, a staff member immediately told us they don’t have halal food, without even asking what we wanted. When our Bosnian friend spoke up and explained that they do offer halal food and that we are respectful guests, the staff seemed embarrassed.
When we finally sat and ordered, another staff member reluctantly informed us that the owner refused to serve us because we are Arabs. We left in silence, shocked and saddened. It is deeply disappointing to see such discrimination in a restaurant located in a tourist area that should welcome visitors from all over the world.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable. The owner’s prejudice against Arabs and Muslims is not only offensive but also unfit for someone running a business in a tourist area. If the owner holds such views, it would be better not to run a restaurant and instead seek professional help.
We strongly advise everyone to think twice before visiting...
Read moreWe have popped up with my mum to this restaurant in the old town neighborhood to enjoy some good atmosphere and wine at first in order to continue possibly with dinner. The waiters didn't even pay attention for us, we were waiting for approx 20 mins that our order would be taken in the random table that we found was free. Finally, when we were noticed, we were asked if we want to sit on the terrace cause other guests just left, of course we accepted the offer but since we were not going to have dinner at first the waiter crooked his face (probably trying to figure out the bill numbers and his tips) and then told us with the nasty face that tables in the restaurant ONLY FOR DINNERS! I was shocked that we were faced that treatment and of course I asked him where that info was written and then we both desperately and completely disappointed left the aka restaurant (THE LEVEL OF WHICH LESS THAN THE BUFFET). If you have an opportunity for gods sake don't go there and don't spoil the lovely evening that you can spend in the truly good restaurant surrounded but responsible and...

We had dinner here last night, and everything—from the breathtaking views to the incredible food and warm hospitality—was beyond perfect. The restaurant lives up to its name in every way: nestled with stunning views overlooking the river, the mosque, and historic city landmarks, the ambiance feels magical.A special shoutout to our hostess Nina, who was exceptionally warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful in guiding us through the menu. Her suggestions were spot-on! I had the vegetarian wok sautéed with rice, and let me tell you—it was hands down the best meal I’ve had on my trip so far. My husband had a chicken dish and echoed the exact same sentiment. In fact, we’re heading back tonight just to have the same dishes again—something we’ve never done before on a trip, which speaks volumes. If you’re in Mostar, don’t miss Mystic. It’s a hidden gem that delivers not just a meal, but a...
