Of course, every review is based on prior experience and comparisons. Although I had heard great things about this hotel it falls right in line with the most basic hotels I have ever stayed in. A nice reception entryway leads to a small welcome desk and attentive staff. Although I was booked in a 3 person room (not by choice) this room was tiny. So much so that the closet door did not open more than 90 degrees to each side and fronting a bed. Unless you put your suitcase on the bed, and positioned yourself right - before opening a door you would not be able to put things in the closet.||The bathroom was adequate but the temperature of the shower's hot water would rise and fall seemingly with the flushing of your neighbor's toilet. Speaking of neighbors, the doors are designed to maximize the slamming of the self closing hinges. Not the best at 4 at 5 in the morning when folks come back from the Beer Festival. Breakfast was fine but not offered past 10:00 AM not even Saturday and Sunday. I am sure that is so they can offer their paid lunch starting at 11:00 AM. Can not recommend. The Hotel PLAZA right down the street seems like a better choice with a pool, gym area, and sit down every...

My room was small but totally adequate although it could do with a decent reading lamp on the work table. The bathroom is also very clean and well-fitted. My room looked on to a rather gloomy well with no view whatsoever. For one night it was not important but for a longer stay it would be. I found the hotel very noisy. I could hear people shuffling around above and in the corridors. The coffee shop is certainly a feast. In the evening there is what might be called a high tea with soup, savouries and then a huge selection of sweets and cakes. If you are a cheesecake fan, this is the place to eat. The breakfast is equally varied and high...
