I stayed 12 nights in total in this hotel, in two different types of room. First five nights were in Superior Suite on the 5th Manhattan floor. The room was nicely and beautifully decorated, sparking new and welcoming. However, It lacks of amenities as can be found in most international hotels. No in-house slipper nor toothbrush and free drinking water, considering this is the one of the best rooms offered by the hotel. There was no coffee offered, only tea bags. The Superior Suite was actually a large room, with no individual living room, There is a large living area with sofa on the common area of the Manhattan floor, but it is a bit of waste since nobody was going to use it.||||I also stayed another 7 nights in a double room with a separate living area on 1st floor. The room came out to be larger than the Superior Suite on 5th floor, but decoration inside the room and bathroom was not as nice as the previous room. I actually felt it was spacious in this room with cheaper rate, but the floor was occupied by more guests and often became noisier than Manhattan floor. Both types of rooms came with in-room safe, TV, paid for mini bar drinks and snack. ||||The breakfast buffet in the restaurant on the ground floor was very nice and with plenty of choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant and at the reception desk. The location of this hotel was superb, strategically located next to one of the best shopping malls in Curitiba (Shopping Estacao) and a large Festval supermarket. You can find all variety of foods or restaurants nearby, all within safe walking distance. The airport executive buses stop nearby the hotel, in front of the shopping centre side entrance and very convenience for those who want to avoid using taxi to/ from the airport. Curitiba long-distance coach station and train station are not far from the hotel, within walking distance, although you would avoid walking alone during the night.||||This is a good hotel for business travellers, very conveniently located, but facilities/ room amenities could be improved, considering the price that I paid (£50-70 per night depanding on the...
Read moreOnly reason I gave two stars instead of one is great breakfast and good (not great) location. |All rest is terrible. |I stayed three nights on business and I wasnt able to sleep well. It is terribly noisy. I asked for a quiet room and they gave me one that my window was above all traffic jam. All night I heard people talking, cars, trucks and motorcicles!|Also, if the visitor next door goes to the bathroom, you can hear then doing everything. |Other real problem is that I wasnt able to take a good shower. Water is freezing! And it doesnt get any better even if you complain. They told me at the reception that as hotel was full, the water heater wasnt heating enough. I imagine that this excuse was ok for a hostel not for a Slaviero Conceptual. Specially for the price charged! The basic you expect ia to take a good shower!!|Curitiba is not a hit city so taking a cold shower IS NOT pleasant at all.|Hotel is old and smells a little.|I complain to travel agency that booked this hotel and asked them to remove this from the list of Curitiba's hotel.|Also, I have a big team that travel every week to Curitiba and I will pass on this information for no one else has...
Read moreWe stayed there for a week. The corner room 215 we had was very large and very quiet. It was very close to the shopping mall.|The reception staff tried to solve the internet problem, which worked for half a day. But the very next day I couldn't download my emails again, so I had to use my phone's hotspot. That's why I used up over 2GB of my roaming credit in those 7 days.|We ate in the restaurant on the day we arrived, but it wasn't particularly good, so we ate out for the rest of our stay.|It should also be mentioned that our room was not cleaned for 3 days out of 7, but that wasn't a big problem for us. Fortunately, the minibar was restocked daily.|The breakfast buffet was so-so, the best thing about it were the two coffee machines that made good coffee.|We liked Curitiba very much and did a lot.|If we had not booked our stay in Curitiba through our travel agent in Uruguay, we would probably have moved to another hotel.|I also informed the management of this after we returned home in response to their email, but I have not yet received a reply. I recommend that you check the details at the hotel in person and not just read...
