Mata Nativa Pousada — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Eunápolis - Porto Seguro

Rooms were comfortable, we were 2 families so we took the rooms closest to the parking lot, both of them had the Jacuzzi which was great! I believe rooms on the higher floor would have a nice view but with small children we did not want those rooms. It is rustic and very Eco-friendly so the rooms and the entire layout is geared around that idea.||||We rented a car (highly recommended even if the roads are bad/dirt roads). It is a 5 minute drive from the quadrado and 5 minute drive to the beach. We could have walked tot he beach too. Someone in the quadrado recommended that we do not walk to the posuada after dark using the short cut so we always drove.||||Breakfast was fresh and wholesome and they took into account dietary constraints. They also baked a cake for my husband on his birthday. We all gained weight from having the delicious cakes and bread.||||Service was outstanding - the staff was very helpful and worked through any language barriers. Wifi is only in the common areas and did not reach our room (we did not mind that). he owner Daniel was very helpful and always present in the mornings to answer any questions we had. He also arranged for horseback riding for us and told us of other activities like kayaking in the river.||||I would recommend Mata N'ativa to fellow budget travelers who would like to be close to...

Lying in a hammock by pool watching monkeys and humming birds while sipping a passion fruit Caipirinha....bliss.|| Mata N'Ativa is a set inside the forest, next to a small river. Beautifully designed with a real effort to blend in gives a feeling of tranquility lacking in so many other 'green' pousadas.|| The owners are extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and surrounding area.|| The staff are wonderful and friendly and,trying to be brief, here's a list of the highlights....||-lovely pool for cooling off||-5 minutes walk from the Quadrado (beautiful centre square of Trancoso) so close but far enough to get peace when you need it, unlike some pousadas 'in town'. Need a torch at night or phone with light.||-bike and kayak trips (both recommended) leave from the pousada itself.||-massage spa||-5/10 minutes from the beach which has local and trendy options for bars||-good value||-wonderful...

We had and amazing experience. People are very kind.|You can get a kayak and row across the river until get to the beach of nativos, it was very fun and beautiful.|The food is very good on the breakfast and also the restaurant.|The rooms are very well decorated, clean and very pleasant. The pool area is very nice, and the ambient is surrounded by trees, what gives you a real connection with nature.|It is very well located, very close to Quadrado, and also to the beach. You can reach both on foot quickly, so its very good, because the minimum fare of taxi is R$ 30.|Please follow us on...
