Well i just goin to spoke the real deal here ,Posada El gordo is ok wasn’t was I was expecting specially for what we pay , the welcoming was ok we have trouble confirming our payment. The only helpful person there is Yolanda other then her everyone is out discussion, the first night we have to call the receptionist to lower down the music was around 1am and we where trying to sleep because we came to trancoso to rest and recharge and a good hotel , but we got the contrary , loudness and disrespectfullnes , the last night which was yesterday we have to call again and this time was a bunch of people screaming and with loud music was 3 am and after we call they raise their voices and the music and when we ask if the can lower down the say they where with the general manager someone call Vladimir which this is crazy how a general manager allow this behavior and not thinking in the rest of the guest , this was my braking point and I’m so disappointed of This place that I will never recommend it...

I went to this restaurant on a recommendation. Highly disappointed. Risotto with linguica duck sucked big time! I actually found something in my dish that was not food. The waiter and chef dismissed it. Service also disappointing. Servers couldn't care less if I wanted a coffee or desert after the mediocre dinner. Had to wait a long time until someone from the staff decided to do me a favor and realize that I was done, ready to pay and leave. Overhyped and overpriced!!! For the same price I can eat at excellent restaurants in Sao Paulo. Do yourself a favor and have your dinner at Villas de Trancoso. I'm never returning to El Gordo...

Tivemos uma péssima experiência. Para começar, uma BARATA (daquelas de esgoto mesmo, não baratinha de mato) subiu nos meus pés, passou para os pés do meu marido. Foi ultrajante, jamais uma barata subiu em mim, e jamais imaginei passar por isso. Que nojo! Chamei o garçom desesperadamente, não é possível que deixem uma barata em um restaurante, ainda mais um que pareça ser de alto nível. Pois a barata saiu da gente e subiu na mesa ao lado (sem ninguém), andou pelos pratos e talheres e os garçons agiram como se fosse a coisa mais normal do mundo. Nos perguntaram apenas se queríamos mudar de mesa, como se fosse um simples imprevisto uma barata subir nos pés dos clientes. Além disso, os pratos deixaram muito a desejar: a carne do meu marido veio tão bem passada que estava queimada (ele pediu ao ponto para bem), e o meu prato estava apenas ok, não valia o valor que paguei por ele. O drink (que custava 65 reais), veio ruim e pedimos para que refizessem. Voltou um novo, que estava ok. Nada nos faria superar a barata, embora entendamos que em um lugar aberto e com muita natureza seja difícil controlar esses insetos, porém esperávamos um pedido sincero de desculpas do chef ou de alguém que se importasse com a experiência dos clientes. Inclusive seria muito bem vindo um desconto ou alguma cortesia, um drink, uma sobremesa, sei lá. Mas nada disso veio. Reclamamos para o garçom no ato do pagamento e recebemos apenas um pedido de desculpas xoxo e sem sal. Só isso. Saímos muito arrependidos e insatisfeitos. Nunca voltaremos e jamais recomendaremos...
