This is a beautiful hotel in Foz do Iguaçu. I would assume most people are coming here to visit Iguazu Falls so it is a bit further away from both the Falls and the airport but taxis are readily available outside the hotel. It's less than $R70 by taxi to the Falls/Airport or to the hotel from the airport. Be aware that there aren't any ubers even though it shows drivers are available. I would recommend taking a regular taxi.
The breakfast is really nice with a wide variety of options. So many delicious breads to choose from. Fresh fruits as well. The coffee is perfection.
The gym is a little lacking but most people aren't there to exercise.
Hotel staff are very helpful, even with the language barrier. There is zero expectation for them to speak English yet they still try and do everything they can to help.
There is a shopping mall right across the street that has a supermarket with everything you need. There's also a food court with great options + good old McDonald's, Burger King and Subway if that's what you want. Great stay and would definitely...
Read moreVery pleased with my choice- I arrived early and they were able to provide me with a room earlier than expected (which was great after an early morning flight from Buenos Aires). Lovely places to sit around the pool at back of the hotel. A nice bar area and the morning breakfast provided an ample amount of choice. The shopping mall is located right across the street with a very handy crosswalk more or less in front of the hotel (as an aside, the shopping centre was a great place to obtain necessities forgotten (eg bug spray) and was a very hopping place with lots of families taking advantage of the restaurants, movie theatres and play areas for children). I highly recommend this hotel for a place to stay- a staff member spoke excellent French and staff members spoke some English- in a pinch, google translate comes in handy. Lastly, the area...
Read moreI had the pleasure of staying here for three nights recently and it was an excellent experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the interior of the hotel was very clean and modern.
The breakfast is excellent, with plenty of hot and cold options.
The rooms are a modest size, but very clean. The only thing that could be improved about the room would be the pillow quality. Pillows were a little bit hard and felt quite overstaffed, so if you’re a fan of your own pillow, then bring it with you.
The hotel is well located and about a 20 or 25 minute drive from the entrance to the national park.
The hotel was also in front of a big shopping mall, with supermarkets, restaurants and other stores.
This hotel was excellent value for money and if I come back to this city, I will definitely stay here. Highly...
