POUSADA NANAI — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Foz do Iguaçu

Truly a beyond memorable stay in Foz do Iquazu, not only because of the water falls but because of Pousada Nanai and the amazing, lovely family owners. Where to begin: accommodations are above comfortable for this remote location, super close to shopping and food (a 6 min walk!), there is a bus station in front of the hotel, the hotel feels like home-literally. The homemade breakfast is delicious and there are many options, room and common areas are clean and neat, comfortable and every detail is thoughtful. The owners (I wish I knew their names) are LOVELY, attentive and kind. I loved every minute and HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anybody who is looking to stay someplace safe, somewhat remote, family-style but respects your privacy, generous and memorable. We arrived in Foz de Iguaçu without a hotel booked (kept forgetting while in other cities) - at the last minute we came across Pousada Nanai and messaged them on whatsapp - they were able to prepare a family room for us very quickly and were waiting for us when we arrived at the door. The room was very spacious and had 3 single beds and one queen size bed, all were comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but fresh and delicious. The family that runs it is very warm and helpful, they speak minimal English, but we were able to communicate well with a mix of Spanish and Google translate. The Pousada is also well located, walking distance to several restaurants, the mall, a kids play ground and only about 12 mins Uber ride to the falls.
