Pousada Rio das Águas — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Foz do Iguaçu

We stayed for three days and two nights. It really felt like home away from home! The rooms was large and comfortable, great bathroom with hot water, lovely balcony with a hammock. The posada has a pool, but we did not have time time enjoy it. The best part is the host, Adriana. She was so helpful, accommodating and friendly. She can arrange tours, but we had ours already purchased. The breakfast was delicious, fruit, pastries, bread, cereal, yogurt, cold cuts, and even eggs. Located in a quiet area, this is more a B&B than full scale hotel, but it's comfortable and the room I had was spacious with a well maintained bathroom. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. The pool is small, but is warm and has nice surroundings and furniture. The honesty bar is a bonus! There is a variety of eating places within walking distance||Note that the lack of A/C in the public areas is important to know about in summer. I found the shower difficult to work out how to get hot water, as the controls are not obvious. Overall a good value place to stay in...
