Pousada Mabuya — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata do Recife

My husband and I stayed for about 6 nights and felt right at home. The owner is incredibly competent. She called a tour agency 3-4 times one morning when they were late and forgot us, and even called other agencies to help us book a new one- all without having to ask her at all! The rooms were very clean. We tracked sand in every night and it was spotless the next day(I greatly appreciate this because who likes sleeping in sandy sheets??). The bathrooms and front porches had plenty of room to lay out anything to dry. There was always hot water. The breakfast was good and they will make you omelets or tapioca crepes every morning- just ask. Plenty of fruit, break, yogurt, etc. Our last day we went to check out and when we said our flight was at 5pm they let us stay until we wanted to leave for free! There are mini fridges in the rooms so you can eat cheap if needed. My only concern is that there is a gym across the street that plays loud workout music pretty early- so bring ear plugs. Also there are lots of umbrellas that you can use if needed! I highly recommend...

We had a very good experience in this pousada.||It is located on one of the few roads in good conditions on the island, next to a buggy rental, at walking distance from 2 supermarkets and from one of the best restaurants of FN.||It is simple but has all that we need: a large enough room (I recommend to book the large room), a large bathroom, an outdoor area with chairs and hammock, safe, hairdryer.||The breakfast is very nice, with fresh fruit, cheese, bread, pastries, etc, and you can ask for eggs and tapioca as well.
