To note that a 1 star would have meant terrible.
The service was good.
The food was average. I don’t know why this island has a lot of average restaurants and food that is all the same- mildly flavored and heavy in something , that something usually being fried and oily or fried and overwhelmingly cheesy. For an island I was hoping light and fresh flavors but this restaurant is a usual, heavy and average. Read moreWe really liked the concept from Varanda, they innovate with a new dish every year and have an artisan-made plate that you can take home as a “lembrancinha” (souvenir) from your trip to Noronha, the food was delicious and very well prepared - the ceviche especially and pumpkin shrimp were excellent. If you’re craving dessert their most famous one is the Cocada which is also very tasty especially recommend if you have a sweet tooth! There was live music that was really enjoyable, the musician stopped at each table and played for the guests. The servers were also very attentive, we had dietary restrictions and they managed to change the dish to...
