My sister and I arrived to Ubatuba on a Monday, days before everything closed for the Covid-19 lockdown. Our stay at Pousada Jamboo lasted 3 days and 2 nights and we couldn't have had a better experience. With all the chaos that was going around, we found in this place a calm, friendly and inviting escape in the mist of the storm. The place is beautiful, all furnished and decorated with exotic wood, the pool is surrounded by trees and other plants and the staff is AWESOME! As soon as we got there Diego gave us a tour around the place, showing us everything and making us feel super welcomed and right at home. I had just got to Brazil from the US and needed some things like outlet adapter and more info about the city, tours, etc. He provided us with everything we needed for our stay right away. SUCH a nice guy!||The breakfast was delicious. It had a little bit of everything and it was fresh and very tasty. There were people making tapiocas right there and they're so good! Coffee was delicious and every day there were different flavors of natural juices. We were really pleased with their breakfast.||The last day to me was what totally set this place apart form others. The check out was at the standard 11am time. We had a beach tour that morning and we asked if we could check out bags for the day. I believe Rafael was the man at the reception desk that time. He not only kept our bags but also told us we could enjoy the pool and take showers after the tour. They have bathrooms outside, by the pool. So after the beach, we returned to the Pousada and enjoyed the pool, took a shower and had an AMAZING burger at the cantina made by Talita - another super nice person of this place. If you stay at Pousada Jamboo you MUST try her Hamburger Artesanal!||My mother was obsessed with a Screwpine tree they have there and asked them if she could take a fruit from the tree back home with her. When we arrived back from the tour, along with our bags were the Screwpine and Jamboo fruits in a bag waiting for us.||We loved, we totally recommend and will definitely return...
Read moreThis location was great, the rooms were really nice, i spent four nights in one of their rooms with a balcony, the whole location felt very safe and looked very nice, they have a pool, a bar and a breakfast restaurant which all look very nice, they grow pineapples on-site, i am not sure if those are the same that are served.
the breakfast is included and you can pick your own food and drinks and you may also order an omelette or a tapioca.
the rooms are spacious, they are clean and our room had an air conditioner as well as a balcony, the balcony has several sliding doors so you can "customize" it to your preference.
they have smart tvs that you can cast content to, or you can watch one of the many available channels, they had one channel which sent English content with Portuguese subtitles, our room had a small fridge, and a hairdryer, the shower was large, and there is a towel heater, the rooms have safes.
i enjoyed my stay at this location very much, my only complaint is that during our stay we did not have internet available in our room for the duration, internet service was available in the breakfast restaurant as...
Read moreThis location was great for my husband and I. We were able to walk around and find nice restaurants after a long day at the beach, which wasn't far by car, and some of them we came back walking. The rooms were apparently clean, but we found dirty cups in our room, one had lipstick marks on it. We also had problems with the shower. The water would not stop leaking with a persistent sound that wouldn't go unnoticed. On top of that, the dogs in the neighborhood were very loud, and the room, which we thought was soundproof, wasn't. The pool was good, and service around the pool was nice. Lovely breakfast, a lot of options. The Tapioca was awesome, but I still wish they had chocolate carrot cake. The...
