1. Location is on the beach and placed on the good fine sand. Suitable for children and the bay is often calm with no high waves. Shallow waters for 20-30 meters so you can go even if you can't swim. 2. Double standard room is quite small with 3x5 meters with enough place for two adults, but that's all about. Don't book this with two kids. Especially with baby. It's probably better if they don't offer this option at all, because when you have baby cartridge and portable infant bed things get hard. 3. Food is good mainly pork and chicken . I rarely give high rating for all inclusive food but this one gets a point for the barbecue. Sweets are also good if you're not on a diet. 4. Drinks on the other hand is not you would have been expecting for 3000 bgn or 1500 euro per week. Alcohol Is very cheap: whisky Is Johny Walker red label at best and creme liquor is not Baileys that you probably expect from "ultra all inclusive". Jack is payed and prepare for shocking prices. Another disappointed bourbon fan 😭. 5. Animation is poor mainly focused for German Poland and Russian audience. Games work with coins are are turned off. So there is only table tennis and jagger football. There is thematic animation on the scene each evening. The magic show is actually not bad. And end of list. 6. Sanitization and maintenance is something they need to hardly improve especially if you're not used to see spider webs and swallow nests on the balcony and pool toilets. Pools are crystal clean BTW but we are at the start of the season so it may change a bit. 7. Parking is payed all over the place and is zoned. Green zone is 20, blue - 10 and 6 bgn on the bus station. 8. Shade and sun beds are free except for the first two lines. Prices are on the picture. In conclusion definitely don't recommend the ultra all inclusive and animation. My strong suggestion is think twice and ask questions for what exactly you are paying before booking, because if you're having high expectations just go somewhere else. At peak of the season prices get a lot more higher so for next year I would personally consider alternative. Hard 4- (minus) score

Overall a relaxing stay, but this hotel really needs a makeover It has seen some better times, so do not expect any luxury. Its located just by the beach which makes it very comfortable to move around back and forth. Rooms - described separately. Pools - one large pool and a second shallow one with a slide for kids. When we arrived, pool was a mess. There were lots of small and large flies in the pool, also sometimes seagulls were stealing food and dropping it in the pool. The people who were responsible for maintaining it weren't really interested, only reacted when I started cleaning the pool with the net. It really felt like the lifeguard's role was to only hand out towels. They did clean it in the mornings, but a regular upkeep during the day would be welcome. Beach - first two rows are paid. 24 BGN for two sunbed and unbrella. Rest is free. Hotel has a strict policy against reserving beds.. which is just an empty threat. Nobody cares. If you came after breakfast only last lines were free and you can stroll through a basically empty beach.. with 90% sunbeds reserved. The hotel doesn't do anything about it and their manager confirmed this. So if you want nice beds without paying, go early and reserve. No-one will do anything about it. Sad but true. Beach is beautiful, nice sand, warm sea, nice waves. Watch out for medusas - they do sting a bit. Food and drink - described separately. Entertainment - there is some entertainment for kids, but can't say what it is. They organize some games throughout the day, dances, evening shows etc. Nationality wise, hotel is visited by Bulgarians, Romanians and Germans. No soviets spotted, but they were here in the past as hotel information is in EN, BG, RO and soviet. Services - money exchange onsite. You can also book trips with hotel or rent a car.

After a relatively long journey, we arrived at the hotel at around 2 p.m., hurrying after standing in customs and hurrying to catch lunch through Dobromir customs, where the police kept us for 90 minutes for no reason.||I left the luggage and the car parked in the upper parking lot, at the hotel we didn't catch a crowd at the reception probably because of the time, the boy at the reception helped us quickly and we didn't even go to see the room because we went to eat something before that we were waiting for the restaurant to close.|The room was a standard one, partial sea view, just like last year. This time the balcony door and the mosquito net were intact.||The room was clean, but clean like tourists, that is, don't expect someone to put the vacuum cleaner under the bed.||The bathroom is ok, clean, relatively equipped, that is, don't expect to have shower gel and soap for 10 days in our case, but you have to bring your own from home because the ones there won't be enough, the towels are changed almost daily.|At the beach after the meal I found 2 sunbeds in the middle at 3 pm on the first day, good beach, clean sea, places with sheets on half of the beach for those who want it.||The food is good, at breakfast it's the same, but you can find almost anything you eat in the morning, lunch and dinner are not repetitive, but don't expect to receive 5-star food like in the resorts in Turkey.||At the snack bar, they make doughnuts, pizza, grills, etc., it's ok if you like snacks between meals and want to gain a few extra kilos.||The bars are ok, nothing special, the beer is good, the juices from the dispensers are cheap, but the bartenders are 90% professional and helpful.||There is enough parking up under the forest or behind the hotel on the street, in the green area, 20 leva per day.||Now as cons :||- in the room, at least in ours, the beds were not changed once in 9 nights (although we are "nice"), not that we necessarily wanted to, but it seems strange to me.|- I have never met water that stains the nails with a red tint, the first hour I saw how the water remained in the shower and how the shower curtain was stained, I think there was some iron metal in the water.|- the toilet splashes water on the lid and on anything standing next to it less than 50 cm when you flush, so you had to clean the bowl non-stop if you care about yourself or the children|- the furniture and arrangements from 2007, many are left or creaking very badly, if you want to go out in the morning without waking up your partners, they have children, you can't, on the wall in front of the bed 3 paintings placed next to each other and with the same picture, a lack of good taste|- the rooms no longer have 4 stars, if they were reclassified they would not get more than 3 stars.||- at the restaurant, a terrible mess on the floor, including at the beginning, in the area of the tables, because when the tables are wiped, everything that remains on the table is taken down, and with the broom I have never seen it happen|- the Asian workers who work at the tables do a good job, those from Bulgaria spend more time on their phones|- I saw two things that bothered me badly, more precisely one day the head of the gym was testing with her hand how hard the fruits were and then putting them back in the bowl, and her subordinate took a plate from the cakes and dirtying- he rinsed his fingers lightly at the drinking water dispenser||- the bathroom at the snack bar (swimming pool) has some urinals at a height of 1m, I think the plumber was 1.90m or taller.|- at the snack one day they put flour instead of sugar in the dispenser, in the garbage bin there were many donuts thrown away because of this, it seems that they messed up the bags, because even after a lady's warning, they put the same thing.|- the bathroom at the reception is permanently clogged or full of napkins sticking out||- the drinks are by the dozen, if you want, I don't know what specialties you are looking for elsewhere|- 2 bartenders behaved badly, one at least didn't feel like explaining (a tourist: latte machiato, bartender: no latte machiato, tourist: frape, bartender: no frape, in the end I explained to the tourist that the bartender doesn't only iced coffee and water and that the frappe on the menu is just a story), some of the drinks on the AI menu didn't work because I didn't have what I needed||- at the beach it's a disaster with the blocking with towels, I went down to the beach at 7 o'clock and 4 rows were already occupied with towels plus the two in front which were with money|- in other years they would come to ask you for the room number, now it is no longer practiced, for this reason although if there are 2 adults and a child, the child was sent by the parents to go somewhere else, in this way occupying two other sunbeds and an umbrella (each room only benefits from an umbrella and a deckchair included in the price) from here and the limited number that you could still find free|- although at the entrance to each beach it is displayed that smoking is prohibited, it is a disaster how many cigarette butts are on the beach, everyone smokes around you, but I rarely see them taking their trash with them|- Mom, I'm peeing, there's nothing to do here next to the lounger because we're stuffy and tomorrow we're staying somewhere else anyway, even though there are 3 bathrooms at 2 minutes each.|- a lot of free dogs running on the beach and in the resort||Overall, this hotel offers more than similar hotels in Albena (but at a higher price) or in Romania (at a lower price than those of the same classification), so I will come back, even though there are many which the managers should take into account, but since they belong to the biggest hotel company in Bulgaria, it is probably more difficult...

READ THE END FOR OUR BIGGEST COMPLAINT. ||So me and my partner had our first couples holiday to Bulgaria. It was a last minute trip and we flew from Luton, so for the price we paid (£650 includes transfer, all inclusive, luggage and flights) we can’t really complain! Originally we were meant to stay in Kaliakra Mare but got told it was closing early for the season. We got an upgrade after seeing the outside of the original hotel! ||The rooms were decent sized, walk in shower, double bed, single bed and a sofa bed, dressing table, wardrobes, safe, fridge (with free drinks) and a balcony. Only annoying thing is the plugs aren’t by the bed! ||I’m not sure what the other reviews are on about with the staff, we found them lovely. On arrival we were greeted with two plates off food as we arrived early hours of the morning. Which was really nice. Plenty of English was spoken, but for all that were complaining about the lack of English, gentle reminder we are in THEIR country so we shouldn’t expect them to speak it!||The food was your standard all inclusive, but they mixed the dishes up on different nights. There’s a snack bar by the pool which was okay, same stuff everyday and a lot of food got left out and went dry or flies got to it. There was a beach bar, pool bar, inside bar and a bar in the restaurant. We did wish that the machines with cokes etc were accessible ourselves rather than having to wait for staff each time for a quick drink. The only complaint we have is there was one night they closed up early due to a different family causing havoc. I didn’t think it was very fair when we were there to enjoy ourselves. They should’ve stopped serving the other people not close it for everyone else. ||There are 2 main pools and 1 splash pool for children. It was a bit nippy but warmed up once you were in! One pool was closed I can imagine due to the time of year, however it was insanely quiet so bonus for not having to fight over pool chairs! The chairs were plastic so they weren’t very comfy to sit on however. This is no fault of the hotels but if you hate wasps don’t go here as we’ve never seen anything like it! Couldn’t relax as they just kept pestering everyone for their food or drinks! ||Entertainment wise we were a bit gutted by. There is a games room but you have to pay for arcade machines and the pool table, but the ping pong table was free. There seemed to be a bit on for kids but the adult entertainment was shocking. We were hoping for karaoke or music but there wasn’t any. We saw they had bingo on one night and there were like 4 elderly people there so we left. ||The biggest complaint we have wasn’t about the hotel but it is really relevant if you’re wanting to do more than stay in the hotel. The area was a complete and utter ghost town! There was one bar on the beach that had a selection of food, we went there once but it wasn’t cheap and we didn’t eat there as wasn’t much choice on the menu. We wanted to go back there Saturday night to do something different but was closed for an event! There was one small gift shop and one small supermarket open in this very abandoned looking shopping centre. There was a mini golf which we saw was open on one day so we got to do that. The beach was lovely but was like a Jelly Fish graveyard there was so many! We went to two other towns (Balchik & Golden Sands) as we were hoping for a meal or some sight seeing or any activity to do but they were just as abandoned! Balchik had a gardens we went too which was pretty but cost a fortune, there were some restaurants open but everywhere was so quiet. But we at least got one meal. It also cost us 70 lev in a taxi there and back! Golden sands was even worse, only things open were a bunch of the same basic gift shops! So we were really gutted about how deserted the area was. But like I said no fault of the hotels, we just wished we would of had some warning!!||All in all we had a nice relaxing week, and for the price like I said we can’t complain! We probably won’t return just for the lack of what there was to do, and I don’t think it was because it was out of season, it really was just like a ghost town! But if you’re wanting to stay in a cheap hotel for a week then here is the...
