The Hotel Luxor is ideally located - city centre 5 minutes walk, seafront and beach 5 minutes walk, railway and bus station 5-10 minutes walk. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and were happy for us to have our room when we arrived a bit earlier than advertised check-in time. The room was spacious and clean and despite overlooking the main road was very quiet.||||Breakfast is available in the attached restaurant and costs around £4.00 if not included in the room rate. The breakfast menu consisted of around 6 options including a full English or a club sandwich as well as more continental options. The food was of very good quality.||||The location makes the hotel ideal for exploring the neighbouring coastal towns of Sozopol and Nessebar (easily reached by simple to understand buses from the nearby bus station) and also Sarafovo which can be reached on foot along a pleasant coastal walk (one for the more adventurous as it is around 4...

I don't suggest this place. The beds were super old and worn out. They have a sauna but it was broken. We then had a debacle when we wanted to do a big load of laundry. They offered a laundry service, but weren't clear about the pricing. When the laundry came back, it was folded but still damp, and smelled of cigarette smoke! They wanted to charge is 192 Leva, which is about $120 USD. RIDICULOUS! They then said that the per-item price (for example, 4 Leva to wash a t-shirt and 2 Leva for a pair of socks) was written on a price list in the room. We later found this price list, tucked into a folder inside a drawer, written in Bulgarian in grid form. In other words, not clearly communicated at all, especially for non-Bulgarian speakers. We ended up paying 100 Leva after talking them down, which is still $60 USD for a bag of laundry. The same as the price for the room! ...

Nice location and very polite staff. That’s all folks! The hotel is maybe 10 years, 20 years old....?!? That kind of places that you cannot recognise the age of .... One of the reasons is maybe because nobody change anything since the first furniture had put in the rooms. I think that they also didn’t wash carpet ever since they put it. Very pity because that spot and the service definitely deserves more. Actually location is very nice, near to port, railway station and almost at the end of the sea garden. Walking distance here you have few nice restaurants and pub with kraft beer you should try. I’ll definitely not...
