We had high hopes this hotel would be the perfect match for us but was we totally wrong, upon arrival we got taken to a “family size” room, when we got in the room it had a very small double bed and a pull out sofa what turned into a small bed, there was 3 of us, 2 adults and one 16 year old. The room floor was soaking wet, the bathroom had a bad odour of egg/sewage drain water smell coming from the bathroom plugs, there was multiple cobwebs in the corners of the bathroom and bedroom, the air con was blowing out warm hot air, the mini fridge was hotter than the sun outside, it was just awful from start to finish, we went back to reception immediately after viewing our room and complained it was very poor and not even clean, the bed sheets had marks on them and several bugs/flies. There was just endless reasons to why we did not want to stay in that first room we was taken to. |The reception staff was very abrupt and rude and not understanding about this situation and she huffed like we was a problem even being there. |After 30mins at reception she finally located another room upstairs on the 6th floor and was taken up to view and see if we was happy with the standard of this room, upon arriving at the new room, it was a little bit better but not much difference, she explained this was the only spare available room in the whole hotel, so we had no choice but to take this second room and get what we was given basically. Again the air con didn’t work, the fridge was roasting hot, the beds was like rock hard bricks and my back was in bits after 7 nights here, the bathroom smell from the plugs and drains was unbearable some days, it was really bad the odour and smell. |Now we will move onto the food and drinks, well I don’t know where to start, we was half board which included breakfast, dinner and drinks (water and punch) just no alcohol. We didn’t go all inclusive as the alcohol isn’t a massive thing for us and we like to eat out at local restaurants in the evening. |The food was very poor, possibly the worst I have had yet staying at a hotel, it was the same selection every morning, the bacon if we got that, was always cold and under cooked. I wouldn’t feed half of this stuff to my dog, |the coffee and tea was very cheap brand also. |As for the drinks, we was advised and told we was entitled to water and punch (coca cola, orange, apple juice etc) |One morning I was getting myself and my sister some fresh cold water, one of the catering staff stormed up to us both pointing her fingers at our glass and half board wrist band saying no you can not have, she was implying we couldn’t have water, I asked what the problem was and she said we are only allowed water and juice at certain times of the day and only from a certain bar, everything we did was like it was an issue and problem, it was water and we paid for it. |There was no kettle in the bedrooms,|No iron,|No key safe,|The lock safe are located in reception area and if you want to use the kettle for a hot drink in the night or out of restaurant times then you have to use the only one they have in the lobby area down stairs in the main reception, the whole thing from start to finish was very poor, THE only good thing about this place is the location, it’s got everything within a footstep away, the beach, kimbo bar was amazing every night, colonel steak house was amazing food, couldn’t fault outside the hotel but definitely would not recommend anybody to stay here as the food, drinks, accommodation and...

We stopped here as a couple bed and breakfast we could not fault the place. Pool large always sunbeds available anytime of day. Staff polite and friendly. Very basic rooms but extremely well kept and very clean. Bedding changed every other day towls changed daily and room cleaned everyday. The room had a fridge very useful as was free air con was fabulous. We had amazing view of not only hotel pool but the beach and sea too. The beds were extremely soft but comfortable however they were quiet low to the floor. The hotel itself was quiet but is on the middle of a lively strip in sunny beach. You have everything on the doorstep. We didn't like the breakfast we feel it could be greatly improved. We didn't have breakfast even though we paid for it as it wasn't very appealing. Straight across from the hotel is the Hawaii restaurant beach bar and we could get a full English breakfast 2 of everything with free drink for 9 lev each. Next time we book here we will do room only as it's cheap to eat out. Due to season ending the hotel did not offer much entertainment. It has it's own exchange and was the best rate we could find. Apart from breakfast been a let down the dining hall was clean and we will be booking here to stay again. One warning to those who don't like noise into the early hours u can hear all the music from the strip till the early hours. Therefore u may want to look for somewhere set...

2nd trip to this hotel and still brilliant, location is fantastic, close to many bars and places to eat, you get 10% off at aura which was lovely, found a cracking bar 5 mins from hotel called the pub opposite the red lion at back of grand hotel food really cheap 6 lev for an Omelette and drinks are really cheap, big screens for football aswel, only 10 mins from the strip, big pool area though does get a little crowded, staff always brilliant, basic rooms but more than ample for what's needed, couldn't recommend a better hotel for a holiday with friends, wheel chair accessible can get around hotel and in and out of lift fine with electric wheelchair, showers are walk in chair won't fit in, with help and a chair can use no problem. Will be back I hope next year. One top tip from me for Bulgaria this was my 15th visit is never go all inclusive or that to there, the food at hotels is usually bland and repetitive, food is very affordable and well priced to eat out espically if you go off the strip, the pub did great cheap food also Jupiter steak house does great food including the best cheesey garlic bread you'll ever have. Good taxi company to use is ians, they are honest and cheap and you can Watts app them and they will give u a fair price 20 lev to nesebar and St vlas for example here's their no...

good room, location but lots of hidden charges, such as charging for a safe per day, if you leave to much food on your plate, also a charge etc , food is almost inedible , paid all inclusive but had to eat out most of the time due to the lack of anything that was not a mystery cold meat or dry crunchy pasta. There were a few notable staff such as the receptionists and a man who helped us with bags that were nice, and the snack bar bartender , but everyone else made us just feel bad for being there, the looking you up and down and talking and giggling and dirty looks just takes away from the experience. Wouldn’t say it’s abysmal here, but just don’t go all inclusive unless you want to waste your money, however the hotel location and room were perfect so no complaints there!

The reception and cleaning staff were very helpful, rooms very dated and small for a family of four. The bathroom always flooded when you have a shower. The sofa bed that's provided was pieced together with timber. Food was hit and miss for quality was usually cold or slightly under cooked, we were all inclusive and tended to eat out on some occasions. The pool area is very tidy but only three slides available no other entertainment in the evenings. The bar to the resort closed at 23:00. Location why's, it couldn't be faulted, straight on to the shopping strip and onto the sandy beach which was immaculate. Would I go again? Maybe to the area but not the Hotel.
