La Maison — Hotel in Ruse

This is a cozy hostel between city center of Ruse and the train station.||It's a little high price for hostels in Bulgaria. But, if you consider it as a hotel, it's not much.||||Location:||This is about 15~20 min walk from both of the train station and the city center. Located in a residential area and quiet.||||Service:||- Staffs are nice. But, I could hardly see staffs after check-in.||- I think there was no room cleaning and making up beds during my stay for 2 nights.||- I saw dead bugs on the floor. I think they need to take more efforts on cleaning.||||Facility:||- Very quiet.||- Each room is private and has a bathroom. There's TV and air conditioner. But, no locker. Tower rack in the bathroom was so weak and it was easily collapsed.||- WiFi signal was so weak in my room. So, I had to go the underground lounge to use the internet.||- This place has a really great lounge area with a kitchen. It consisted of several areas and I liked it.||- There's also a resting...

Absolutely horrible. It is no where near kid friendly it is exactly the opposite!! We came here late after a long drive in the car and my kids wanted to unpack and get ready for sleep but within the first five minutes the neighbors from downstairs told us to be silent since they were trying to sleep my kids spent the whole time tiptoeing around and whispering they even had to hold in their sneezes! The roof is so awfully low it’s painful we all hit our heads several times including my 5 year old. And most importantly it was so hot in the room it was too hot to handle and the AC was like decoration did nothing. The beds are so small the kitchen and living room are shared?! And also there are so many random big wooden polls all around taking up so much space. The 80lv room consists of 4 small beds and a bathroom. What a waste of money i dont recommend AT ALL too expensive for...

This place is an absolute piece of ART! Perfect location - 5 min. walking distance from the center of the city. The service is great and the rooms are cozy and intimate. I loved that the beds are not very high - a wonderful option if you travel with a baby like us! The living room with the kitchen was absolutely adorable: old books, comfortable sofas, even an acoustic piano!! The interior style is more than charming! There is a small and lovely backyard for the smokers and those who like to drink their coffee and beer outside!
