Guest House Holiday in Melnik — Hotel in Sandanski

The hotel is in the middle of the small town. The GPS didn't find it but we saw it when we drove up along the river and crossed the bridge. A good size restaurant is located on the ground floor. We had to climb 30 steps to our room # 2 on the upper floor. It was quite small but cozy with a very comfortable bed and a huge armchair. The modern bathroom was also on the small side, especially the sink was tiny. We were happy to have the AC because the days were still very hot.||The dinner was nice and the breakfast typical Bulgarian fare with plenty of white cheese and deep fried items. The town was quiet as the summer season seemed to be over at the end of September. The quest house has only a few rooms but they are good sized, bed fine, bathroom good. Need to find the restaurant chief for check-in. Location is right in the middle of this charming, very small town. The quest house owns the restaurant in front of it and the breakfast and dinner was quite good (at 9:00 in evening, the restaurants was nearly full while other restaurants in town had virtually no one). We booked this apartment previous and this summer too. Now we stayed 2 nights.||This place absolutely our favorite stop to Thesszaloniki.||We rented 3 bedrooms aparment with 3 bathroom, was perfect for 2+2 adults and 3 children.||Great location, centre of the city, perfect place to organize a walking trip to the fortress, churches and all ruins. ||Apartment and the bed linen was perfectly clean.
