Hotel:007 — Hotel in Sofia City

The hotel is located near to a tram station and it's very noisy if you leave the window open. In the rooms and the corridors there is very heavy, specific smell of cigarette smoke. Even the towels and the bed linens smell of cigarettes. For a 4-night stay the maids didn't change the bed linens not even once. They changed only the hand towel once, without replacing the obviously damp and wet body towel which was placed on the exact place as the hand towel. The receptionists always want you to return the key even if you are going to the grocery shop nearby. The AC's filters as you can see from the picture were dusty, everytime you turn on the AC you can smell the strong cigarette smoke odor. The pillows are not comfortable at all. Wi-Fi signal is extremely bad and unreliable. However, the bathroom was clean, with good water pressure in the shower and constant supply with hot water. ‐ Advice: if you visit this hotel bring your own towel and if possible bed linens if you hate the smell of...

You get what you pay for... and for 1 night prior to flying it will have to do, normally stay in the festa hotel which is only a further 5 mins away but sadly they couldn't accommodate.||It's proximity to the airport is great as it's about 5 lv in a taxi||My room was at the font in the first floor, so you could here everything from businesses below, the noise and people and dogs from the front. ||Beds were ok, and room was reasonably clean. Shower/wet room was ok except the water couldn't decide if it was going to give hot or cold water. Also as it was a wet room and the floor gets covered in water means walking out to a reasonably floor with wet feet.||Internet was hit and miss, seemed to be very poor in my room, ||Shampoo and soap was also very poor and obviously as cheap as you can get. |||Definitely wouldn't stop here or recommend people whom I know to stop here, I stay in hotels all around the world, and this was exactly what 60 lv or £30...

This hotel has a nicely renovated bathroom, free internet, a/c, and not far from the airport. Also near a major bus station. Mattress okay. Overall fair a value. But the carpet was worn and a bit dirty. T worst of all, the room smelled of tobacco. Not sure if they have non-smoker rooms. The toilet has a small leak onto the floor. Two lights didn't work. Had to walk a fair distance to get breakfast, and the directions given by the reception were unclear and unhelpful.
