Lovely little hotel. If you're looking for luxury you won't find it here as this is traditional Bulgarian hotel, but it is the cleanest and nicest hotel in Arbanasi with the friendliest staff. Every single person we met was nice, they are family operated and are here to stay. The breakfast in the morning its like you're mom made it and they change it daily. I did feel the Bulgarian spirit while visiting Arbanasi and staying at Maraya hotel. The pros: the rooms are very cozy and bright, with a little balcony. I really liked the window sills and door frames made of wood, they gave an authenticity feeling. The staff are polite, the breakfast is not served as a buffet, but it was good (cheese pastry, cake and coffee, or tea if you like).
