Very much under my expectations for this big hotel franchise. I wish 3.5 stars existed in this rating. I love many things here, but they still have a lot to be done, yet they had nothing to notify guests. Everything seems complete from their posting both on their Facebook page and Agoda. Once I booked and got there I found out they have many more to finish and polish. From the parking lot, we were assisited by the security staffs who might not have been trained yet as they seem to lack a lot of useful info. They didn't even know where the lobby is. Then at the reception, their payment system was still messed up. It couldn't even read master card, while the sign says Master card is accepted. The pools (there are two) are done and usable but the sourounding facilities are still to be done, the lockers, the shower room before jumping in the pool, the resting seats, which means you can only swim but can't rest or be waited. There is no rooftop bar or resting area. The room we stayed is fine with nice sea view. There was still a lot of trash too at their backyard near the beach. Since pool is one of the most important aspects of our selection as our kid loves it, we had to move out after one night stay. Oh their breakfast was excellent with nice food, well trained staff and nice sea view from 18th floor. I believe it could be a nice Hotel once everything...
Read more1 out of 10, this hotel only caters for the low end casino loving Chinese.||On a plus, the hotel room and view from the hotel were awesome, however the customer service was utter rubbish (absolutely non existent), never have I been to a hotel, where they wanted to charge you $5 dollars to bring a bucket of ice to your room and they didn’t even have champagne glasses!||They advertise a bar with cocktails when they don’t even have a bar or sell cocktails, just wine by the bottle and beer, rubbish, the dark bar advertised wasn’t ready - it’s still under construction, ||Due to the massive ground level casino everyone is frisked and bags are checked on entry to the hotel. If this is a security measure because of the casino, then why not have a separate entrance for hotel guests.||I should have realised this place wasn’t any good when it took five days to reply to my email. The hotel is seedy, it’s a very poorly run franchise which is totally unprofessional in its establishment, only catering for its own holidaying nation.||In my opinion the world is massive place as a traveller, you must try to experience as much as you can, that aside , for me a measure of how good somewhere is, is whether you’d go back, I wouldn’t entertain a revisit to this hotel, for free with a 25% gift of the profits...
Read moreStay away. The one and only good thing about this place is the awesome view from Executive Suite rooms only. All the other view rooms are small have just a tiny peak of that view and other rooms can easily look right into your balcony and into your room. Even in Executive Suite rooms have these fatal flaws:|—The tub on the balcony is unusable because it only has rusty brown water;|—there is virtually no counter space or lighting in the bathroom;|—you have to hold the bathroom faucet handle on for it to work;|—there is a sewage treatment plant right next door, visible from all rooms facing the ocean;|—the A/C malfunctioned and shut off on its own regularly;|—it advertised having room service but it really does not. There is a restaurant in the hotel but it is independent. If you want “room service” they come to your room with a menu then you must pay cash or only with the monopolistic ABA credit card. You cannot just charge it to your room.|I will commend though much of the staff, especially the Cambodian staff. |Sihounakville overall is very dirty. The powers that be, whomever they are, have asserted economic power/influence such that many, many places will not accept VISA or Master Charge credit cards, only ABA credit cards. |The island excursions are the best part of...
