Xinhaohui Palace — Hotel in Khaet Preah Sihanouk

I had the pleasure of staying at hotel during the New Year, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish.The festive decorations throughout the hotel created a warm and cheerful atmosphere that truly set the tone for the holiday season. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, offering excellent service despite how busy it was.The New Year’s Eve celebration organized by the hotel was a highlight of our trip. The food at the gala dinner was delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit every palate. The live entertainment and countdown event were spectacular, making it a memorable way to ring in the New Year.Our room was clean, spacious, and had a stunning view of the fireworks display at midnight. I made a reservation at this hotel through booking. They kicked me out of the hotel because there was a mistake in the prices. The hotel is very expensive. They call themselves spotting, but it's so dirty. Employees are annoying. No communication skills. The pool is very dirty. Also, never trust employees. Because while cleaning your room, they can issue a bill for the minibar. I never used the minibar but they said I did. Because the employees couldn't do their job, they didn't see the drinks behind the minibar. In short, I do not recommend this hotel at all. Very bad experience. I booked a non-smoking room but the smoking smell was everywhere, in the hallway, in the room, and particularly on bed/pillow sheets and towels.  They put an air purifier in the room but that didn't help. Breakfast was very poor for a 5-star hotel, only from 7-9am, and no coffee and no  fruit. Most signs/notes, such as descriptions for breakfast items, were in Chinese only (there was no even Khmer). When I checked out and asked for a room receipt, they gave me one in Chinese and told me that the system didn't have an option to print receipts in English.
