My family and myself were to spend there a restful vacation and ended up so disappointment we shortened our trip just to leave. The client facing staff is truly the asset of the place and I have to highlight how exceptional they are. Notably the beach restaurant. The rest was just a nightmare. Starting with the room being far from comfortable, the restroom shower area being outside is swarming with mosquitoes - good knows we tried everything but to use the restroom after sunset is a battlefield or nightmare especially with a little one. The surroundings of the room smelled like public restroom and it was just easiest for the staff to ignore it. When i said explicitly that were leaving earlier because were extremely disappointed the receptionist looked at me with empty eyes and no follow up. I asked to speak with shift manager and there was no one (lol what?) Though he said he will pass tue msg then again just nothing. Always no follow up no questions nothing. I raised complaints few times and nothing. Even when highlighted we will leave disappointed ahead of time nothing. We came with high expectations following a referral, but this was such a waste of time. Except the beach restaurant and staff this place is really a waste. You can stay in any other neighbouring place and use the restaurant with out going through what we did. I give two stars hoping they will do something with this but I still struggle with 2...
Read moreI would give this 4 stars but I would think they need to put more effort to maintain the area a lot more.||This hotel located on otres beach which is quite in a distance from city center of Sihanoukville but it is quite a good place to be away from the business of the Chinese taking over town.||I saw the hotel on booking.Com and Agoda and decided to call to the hotel straight away to get a better deal, the photo looks fantastic in the site like Agoda and booking.Com but when I arrive here I saw the room as it is off for a couple of weeks without taking care of, the bathroom is not what I was expecting and the room itself is not what it does look on the site.||So I asked the guy at the front desk to change to a bungalow pool view which is a bit better.||I love the outdoor bathroom with nature and the pool is quite relaxing.||The room|I’m general is ok but not the best deal with what we paid for, they have a draft beer for one dollar and the food is good but a bit expensive here.||Staff are friendly and welcoming with a nice smile all the time when I need to ask anything, I want to rent a motorcycle but they have the option here, they only have bicycles for rent but is 5$ per hour not per day. They also have quad bike to rent and it cost 25$ per hour as well.||Overall I would rate this hotel higher if they try to keep area more clean and perhaps paint the building as advertised on the...
Read moreOur stay at Tamu Cambodia has exceeded all our expectations. The hotel and staff truly embrance the concept of glamping to make sure you have a perfect stay. From all the nice amenities inside the tent (air con, private bathroom with hot water, confy bed) to the beautiful pool. On top of that, you have just the amazing beach few steps from the pool. We were mesmerised by all the different shades of blue. The hotel offer very delicious food both western and khmer. My favorite was the sweet potato gnochi! It was soo yummy. :) Everybody that we spoke to in the hotel had good english and were always checking if we needed something else. You can reach out to the hotel by ferry (twice a day) - the hotel will give you all the details prior check in. In case, you want to visit other part of the island, they can also book a motorbike taxi. They also accept credit card as payment which was very handy due the lack of ATM's in the island. Thank you very much for making our holiday one...
