Beautiful boutique hotel with rather spacious rooms! The staff is extremely kind and attentive! The beach is clean and there’s a beautiful sunset to watch. They provide sun chairs and towels which is nice. The breakfast buffet is decent (like a 8/10). The restaurant itself for lunch and dinner is okay but there are better and cheaper options nearby (“Secret Garden” being the top choice, 20m to the side!). There is a huge construction site right next to the hotel. If you’re bothered by noise easily, this will be a bummer. We had the room closest to the site and weren’t bothered much. They don’t work after 6pm and before 7am. On the beach itself you don’t hear much.

Good boutique hotel in Otres area, the iconic pool along other guests' rooms may not be as welcoming n attractive to other guests esp when those rooms are open. Though, people can still enjoy the sea just right in front of the hotel. A la carte Breakfast is a bit disappointing, not very appetizing, could be more improved on this.

Boutique hotel at the eastern end of otres 2 beach. Nice modern and clean rooms wth mosquito net above the bed. International outlets so you don’t need an adapter! Most staff can speak English and they can assist in getting a tuk-tuk (can be hard at night, especially when it rains).

Pros: friendly and helpful staff who always had a smile on their faces very friendly and attentative manager pool looked ok cocktails were cheap and tasty room was clean(ish) ear plugs next to the bed relatively quiet between 1am and 6am got a discount of 20% (which was definitely not enough) because of...

Cons: ...two construction sites right next door. And I mean literally next door. Like hammering and sawing 2meters (6'7" or 11 bananas)from our room construction workers seemed to live on the site and listened to quite loud music till 11pm since they lived on the site they could start the work at 7am in the morning the view of all that wasn't too amazing either. unless you're interested in cambodian construction techniques no noise protected rooms furniture was a bit rundown (not too bad - just the paint is starting to wear off) black stains all over the bed linen and pillow cases rust (or blood?!) stains on towels there was a wooden door connecting our room to the room next door. Could've been a paper door (not sure). We were able to follow every conversation of the guests next door. Good thing (for us) our alarm went off before theirs. breakfast had no variety (like there was only one kind of marmelade) dinner at the hotel restaurant wasn't great either strand beds were old, dirty and partly broken

Good thing we just stayed here for one night. Sure, the construction work isn't their fault and they sent us some kind of warning, after(!) we booked. But you just cant charge your customers the full price or even 80% of the full price in that condition. We even had to ask for the discount. It may be better after the two new hotels next door are finished. But then I'd rather book one of those.

Personal tip: book the naia resort or white boutique hotel. Though right next to the ren resort they are cheaper, looked better and are at least a bit farther away from the...

Where do I start? This was our favorite place to stay in our three weeks and seven different hotels in all of Cambodia. The managers, Sam and Jerri (I hope I'm spelling that right!) were fantastic hosts. It was our Honeymoon and we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and a lovely note, which absolutely went above and beyond. The room was beyond lovely, huge bathroom, tub, sitting area, bed, everything amazing. If you get a chance, ask Reach to make you a Slow Gin! It was the best drink I had the entire time I was in Cambodia (and let me tell you, I drank a lot of cocktails on my visit).

Reach and his brother, Ray, were a delight as well. They shared stories about Cambodian culture and answered all of our million questions about Cambodia, Buddhism, and anything else we came up with.

I'm having trouble putting into words how amazing they all made our stay. We even came back for Happy Hour later in our trip when we were at a different hotel in downtown Sihanoukville (we had pre-booked all our hotels before leaving). If and when we ever make it back to Cambodia, Ren Resort will be number ONE on our list of places to come back to. We love you guys!!!!

**There was a "Jungle Party" at some place maybe a few blocks away while we were there. While I'm sure it COULD have bothered some people, the noise was barely noticeable to us. We didn't even use the...
