The value of the Iroha Garden Hotel is exceptional.
The staff are like your family. Its not cheap, but its also not too expensive either. And therein lies the rub: You get a nice comfortable, modern, contemporary, stylish room. You get a great breakfast (anytime during the day). Everyone is there to help you with anything, large or small, and they do so quickly, and efficiently, with a genuine smile. They make you feel like your are part of the family. The owner is very friendly and works hard to make every guest feel welcome. And this attitude and work ethic is reflected in all of the staff. People that live in PP come here for a long weekend, and that is telling. At the end of the day, you feel like your money is well-spent. You won't find a better value. You are basically paying half price for the service level. To get this service level anywhere else, you will pay double.
The hotel is located on a semi-private, gated road, so traffic on the street is minimal. It is a large garden compound, set away from the street. It is very quiet most of the days and nights, yet in close proximity to the hustle and bustle of PP.
A very helpful young man on the staff helped me obtain a decent hardtail bike, which I rented for $10 a day, to do local rides around the city. But I don't recommend this city riding for beginners, as it is challenging urban riding in and out of thousands of scooters, tuktuks, cars, trucks, etc. Crazy but also fun!
I don't want to mention staff by name, but all the young gals and guys were so incredibly friendly and helpful and caring. Thank you to everyone that made my stay wonderful!
If you stay longer than two weeks, they will work with you on rates. If you need to make changes to your booking schedule, they will work with you.
I will probably return to PP just to go visit the Iroha...

What can I say about iRoHa Garden Hotel & Resort? From the moment I arrived, it felt like home. Nestled in a tranquil and serene part of the city, the location is perfect for anyone seeking peace and calm.
The warm welcome began with a refreshing drink, thoughtfully introduced by the staff, who took the time to explain what it was and even inquire about my preferences and dietary habits. They then requested a moment to walk me through the property and its facilities; a gesture that instantly made me feel valued.
What truly stood out was the personal touch. The owner and CEO himself took the time to meet and greet me. With a map in hand, he enthusiastically shared recommendations for exploring the city, making sure I was all set for my adventures.
I had the pleasure of savoring some authentic Cambodian cuisines during my stay, and every bite was a treat for the senses. The culinary experience added so much to the charm of the place.
The staff? Absolutely wonderful, friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The food and amenities exceeded expectations, leaving no room for complaints.
Now, here's the part that completely blew me away: I had an early morning flight the next day and needed to leave by 5:30 AM. To my surprise, the owner showed up at that early hour to personally see me off. He even walked me to the cab that was waiting outside—a gesture of kindness and hospitality I will never forget.
And here’s the cherry on top: During my stay, I helped myself to two beers from the minibar in my room. When I informed the staff about it, they simply smiled and didn’t charge me for them!

Read moreThe IroHa Garden Resort was our first stop when we arrived in Cambodia from the U.K. The hotel delivered everything we had expected and far more. We had known that we would be exhausted after our long journey and getting used to the time difference - the IroHa proved to be a complete oasis of calm and yet an easy tuk tuk or taxi ride into the centre of bustling Phnom Penh. The whole hotel is tastefully and authentically furnished, our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, the attention to every detail to make your stay comfortable is amazing but as other reviews have written what really stands out are the people. The staff cannot do enough for you - they are always smiling, helpful and welcoming. The owner Mr Kuroda, welcomed us personally, gave us some top tips for getting the most out of Phnom Penh, and waved us on our way 3 days later, we got the impression that he made this effort with all of his guests - reinforcing the impression that everyone at the IroHa goes the extra mile to make your stay special. For us, another important positive was the ethos of sustainability throughout, this was consistent with no compromises to comfort whatsoever. We can’t recommend...
