I am a bad sleeper, so quietness, above all else, is what I look for in a room. This hotel excelled during the night -- no banging doors, no noise, and (on the fourth floor) no street noise. There was a bit of noise during the day from a construction site but it wasn't too bad. ||The cleanliness wasn't 5 star, although the sheets were clean and the bed was firm and the cleaning ladies offered almost every day to clean the room. ||There is no wifi in the room, but there is fairly slow wifi and a public computer in the lobby. ||I paid $8 a night and will definitely be back when I return to PP. ||Also, there is an excellent Cambodian street-side restaurant around the corner. Go out of the hotel and turn right, take the next right and two doors down is a restaurant. They have a menu in English and have a wide variety of dishes available. Very local vibe...
Read moreIt's about 10 years i go there when i go to Phnom Penh, 1/2 times per year.||the price goes up and quality goes down, all is broken, nothing is fixed, all the money of the 64 rooms goes in the owner car, a pretty new coupe Mercedes....but nothing to fix the 15 years old air con which make less fresh than a fan...toilet broken, shower head broken, a cigarette in the shower, a 30 years tv with all the furniture very old and broken also...the wood fixed with tape....and a nice waterfall in the main hall where you park the moto that nobody clean even after few hours it...
