Eclipse Sky Bar — Restaurant in Khan Prampi Makara

What a wasted opportunity. !! The place has a good chance but the food was terrible, the service chaotic and not attentive .

We ordered starters and main.course that arrived one by one They forgot one starter and a main arrived by the time one main was finished at the same time with the other main course. The calamari for starters were cold and very soggy. While one of the mains ( pasta carbonara was edible ) the salmon pasta was the worst ever salmon if you walk the planet, from Beijing to Boston. The waitress addressed us with "hey sister , I don't have this on the menu ... " While the music was blasting progressive techno trance, more appropriate for a strip joint and table dancing not for a dinner restaurant. Shame about the location.

Later edit, 2nd day : we both got food poisoning from the calamari from which we only had one each . Thank God I did not...

I came here with my friend when we were visiting Phnom Penh and I really enjoyed my experience here.

The view was absolutely stunning, I don't think you will be able to find anything like it. I would recommend a jacket because if it is windy then it might get a little cold.

The drinks were delicious and I loved the cocktails. The food was also really nice, the fresh fruit that was brought to us was amazingly tasty.

It found it relatively chilled out which was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Of course there is music and entertainment. The kids that did street dancing were brilliant.

I cannot fault my experience here and I would recommend anyone visiting Phnom Penh...

I visited Eclipse a few weeks back with some colleagues and was sorely disappointed. The oysters were not fresh at all (one of my friends had food poisoning a day later..) and the service was pretty appalling. We waited more than an hour and a half for our food, despite reminding the waiters a number of times. We were only told after over an hour that they didn’t have two of the dishes we ordered, which seemed pretty ridiculous- I’m not sure why they couldn’t have informed us from the start? Eclipse relies on its views to attract customers and that’s a shame - it could be something really special if more care was given to the...
