First, when we arrived we had to wait for our room to get ready, i.e. the owner made it up on the spot.
Second, the owner didn't tell us anything when we checked in - nothing about the WiFi (which wasn't working), the water (which often didn't work, & thus preventing us from showering), the electricity (which is only on at nights [since we are on a fairly remote island]) or the establishment's restaurant (which was not functional that evening).
Third, the room was very basic, which we expected. What we did not expect was the bloody stains on the sheets, and the suspicious yellow stains on the towels. Furthermore, we had the impression that this was a beach-front place, however, our bungalow was much further back off the beach, on a river that looked potentially toxic. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere nicer or cheaper like Coconut Beach...

But if you are looking for more action, diving activities, even party... is better to stay at the other side of the island. The room is more less, peaceful and fresh. It looks like new built. But it's dirty, the waste water comes down and ends in an open area of water, below the rooms. It doesn't have sea view. They don't offer any amenities (at least soap, toilet paper). There are better places who offer much better conditions for less price. Not recommended because the relation...
