DEFINITELY WORTH IT. the best beach in Cambodia Sok San beach is the main beach in Koh Rong island, in the opposite side of the wharf. To go to Koh Rong you have two ferry options. The slow boat leaves 2-3 times daily and takes 2 1/2 hours. The fast boat takes 40 minutes-1 hour and leaves about twice daily. Two of the fast boat companies have websites, these are Speedferrycambodia and Sea Cambodia. There are no roads on the island yet so the only way to get around is on foot. Be sure to head to Sok San Beach, either by foot through the jungle or by long tail boat. Everything is just thrown away, whenever they stand. And once in nature, no one will ever clean it. But it doesn't matter for very much longer, as the planned international airport will have its entry path exactly over the beach. From bad to worse. So 5 stars for the beach...
