Staff are extremely rude and liars. I am a choice member and was using my rewards points for 2 free nights. I checked in and they requested a credit card. I gave them the debit Visa card that I use every where and online and it acts as a visa . After I checked in and got into the room, they called me and said the system identified the card as a debit and I said it is impossible but he insisted and requested another card. I went to the reception and asked to see how the system identifies it as a debit ?!! After I insisted, he had to show me the screen and of course it says Visa and that he is lying. His co-worker started to yell and say that it is a policy and then I said if it is a policy then say it straight forward without lying and claiming that the the card was identified as a debit. I took a screen . The manager started yelling at me and wanting to take a picture of my debit card since I want to take a snap shot of my card rejection. Then the manager kept yelling at me and telling my husband to make me stop talking ?!!! I said I need their names and I have the right to make complains of how she is talking to me. She left me talking to her and went to her office and completely ignored me. I cannot believe such people are hired to work in a hotel. I was under the impression that hotels offer customer service and hospitality but definitely that is not what I have seen. I had been to different hotels all over the world and have never seen such rude and impolite employees at a reception. I feel so bad for the chain to hire such incompetent people. I have another reservation next week that will cancel and go to another hotel where I feel...
Read moreEDIT UPDATE: FOE THE OWNER WHO RESPINDED TO MY POST. I would love to speak with you to share further information regarding your staff that I did not include here. How would I contact you?
Room was fine- nothing spectacular and location was great for the airport. However, I have not encountered such terrible customer service anywhere.
The only good part of our experience here was the location. There was a mix up in our booking, without all the detail here is the short version. We booked through Comfort Inn Reservation Desk and they booked two rooms instead of one. Julie, who we checked in with, had said that the booking was through Expedia and did not believe us until we showed her the confirmation email. At first she was rude, condescending and short with her replies, until she realized she was wrong, after which she turned quite friendly. We were told that she would leave a note to apply a senior discount to the room which would be applied in the morning on check out. In the morning Willie (hotel manager) refused the discount and had no interest in hearing us out and Julie had not left the note for him that she said she would. Willie was rude, dishonest and swore under his breath while talking to us. Willie may be very good at other things (I don’t know) but he definitely should not be in customer service. Again room was fine but customer service was...
Read moreThe continental breakfast had very little choices. Plain Cheerios and Raisin Bran cereal. My kids wouldn’t eat it. The brown bread was squished, so my kids wouldn’t eat the toast either. The only fresh fruit available were apples that were all bruised and rotting. The paper plates were so thin and cheap quality, I cut through the paper plates with my plastic knife. My waffle folded the paper plate carrying it to my table. It fell on the floor. The waffles only had syrup available. There was a sign printed (at the breakfast station) which was written with poor grammar, signed “The Management”. When I went to get my coffee, I was starting to poor a small amount of sugar into my coffee, the lid of the sugar container fell right off and into my coffee. When I told the breakfast attendant what had happened. She didn’t even look at me or acknowledge me. However I know she heard me as she just smiled as she was tightening the lid. So I repeated that the lid of the sugar did not stay on and it fell into my coffee. She smiled at me as she was putting the sugar lid back on. Which was not staying on. So she changed the lid. I found it to be very rude of her. The key cards took over 5 minutes to “start working” before I was able to open my room door. However the front desk lady was very helpful...
