A&W Canada — Restaurant in Alberta

This A&W is clearly the worst A&W in all of Alberta if not Canada. They can not take an order correctly and or follow simple instructions on the order slip. "Like I would like a Papa burger with just mustard and sliced onions, oh can you add lettuce and tomatoes too". But what do you get we put everything on your burger expected what you asked for. The receipt clear shows what I ordered. Oh and to top it off, we burned your onion rings(in all seriousness it looks like they were reheated on the flat top). Sadly I haven't learned my lesson because I go there once a week and they screw up my order about 70 to 80 percent of the time. I have complained to management. When I call they recognize my voice which I find sad. The truth is the first sign of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting it to change. I have tired to educate them and be patient with them, but clearly they have no desire to learn. I guess my burning question is how many customers have they inconvenienced with continual mistakes and how many people haven't said anything.

Now they have chosen to be rude to their clientele, as well incredibly slow. 20 minutes to get 3 chicken strips and fries is a joke.

I would suggest to drive 5 minutes farther south and go to the Wendy's or the other A&W in Leduc. I would also suggest that they close this location or change ownership.

I made the choice to give them another chance after 7 months. Sadly they have not gotten any better, they have gotten worst.

I have learned my lesson. You can't fix stupid or people who don't want to be fixed. I don't think that a management or ownership can help this location. I believe that they should close it down altogether. I will NEVER !!!!!!...

Will not be returning to this location as today I went in for lunch and the food was horrible. Got the Ruffles crunch teen burger and they didn't let me know at the till that they ran out of the sauce for this limited time only burger, that was not the issue the issue was not letting me know at the counter before i ordered it. So had to choose a different sauce got the chipotle.. The onion rings were barely cooked through. And the pop was nothing but syrup. As someone who has worked at fast food resteraunts in the past including 1 a&w location l if we sent food out the way this location did we would have gotten a talk to. For the cost of what it costs for fast food these days you would think they would take more pride in making sure they are serving a decent meal. I should have just taken my money and either thrown it in the garbage or went up the street to mcdonalds. This location really need to work on there food skills because this was the worst experience I have had at a fast food resteraunt. Been going to this location for 7 years. (almost 5 times a week for said 7 years) The experience is quite hit or miss. Sometimes you get a really nice and warm experience with nice food and sometimes they mess up your order. (about an 80% success rate). The bad experiences I've had are, Too much sauce and or completely forgetting the sauce. Cold or missing food. Overflowing garbages, gross restrooms, flies, dirty fountain pop. Swearing or depressed staff. 15-30 minute wait times on food when there's no lineup. Out of certain food items from them not ordering enough.

When the experience is nice it slaps, otherwise it kinda sucks to see so many mistakes at an A&W. Especially when you're paying extra compared to other fast food joints.
