Mountain Glacier Viewing Heaven!!! The views are unbeatable for any mountain glacier lover. Just a quick walk, or drive, from the hotel gets you to the toe of the glacier! 360 degrees of endless views. Lots of hiking trails as well. Easy access to the discovery centre & it’s gorgeous shop. The room was very spacious & super modern in look. Also, it’s very quiet both inside & outside the room. Staff were very friendly & super helpful! Not a single staff member was rude or impolite. From the moment we parked & unloaded our luggage, we were greeted in the parking lot by a lovely staff member who helped us bring our luggage to our room. They invited us for to their welcome cocktail hour (between 5-6pm) but we had our tour booked at the SkyWalk & unfortunately missed it! It was definitely a gorgeous drive to & from the hotel as it’s one of the few properties you see/pass. The price of a room (even though it’s modern in look & newly updated) for one night IS truly a bit steep for what you get. No hotel “extras” in ways of a pool or hot tub BUT that did not upset our choice in staying here. We also found the restaurant pricing a bit high as well & decided to drive into Jasper for dinner. We booked in for 4 guests, 2 adults & 2 children, but were stocked with minimal towels. No extras to be found but honestly didn’t bother too ask for more either; we just made it work. Note: The stretch on 93 between Jasper & Banff is stunning BUT be sure to gas up because you won’t have many, if any, options.

We were touring Jasper to Banff in our camper trailer but decided to treat ourselves to a night at the Inn along the way. It was a great call. This hotel occupies the top floor of the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre so affords awesome amazing views. We opted for a glacier view room, which was just a few bucks more. Bathroom and furniture were a bit worn but the room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The beds were also perhaps ready for replacement but still very clean. The view of course, was stellar. Front desk and cleaning staff here are genuinely friendly and polite. Our little Bailey felt welcomed too! (pets stay for an additional $25CAD) Oh but FYI, there is no ATM or currency exchange service at this hotel. (We wanted to get our hands on some loonies for the coin-op soda machine after hours but no such luck.) This place gets 5 stars for the location and views, and the convenience to the various tours. Granted, the visitor center downstairs gets to be a madhouse from about 10am with throngs of tourists jockeying for Glacier Skywalk and Ice explorer tickets, but this all starts to wind down in the afternoon. All the tour desks, kiosks, gift shops and galleries on the ground floor close down by 6pm and the place becomes a literal ghost town. That's when guests of the hotel have the entire outdoor viewing area to themselves. It's pretty awesome. Glaciers in twilight, quiet and wonderful!

Horrible service horrible price. I just stayed the night on July 25th. My stay was horrible. I had the glacier view room which has a nice view if you don't mind looking through a couple hundred people on balcony in front of you. The rooms had no air conditioning and the walls were paper thin. I did not get much sleep during my stay. I would have just said oh well if this were a cheap hotel but this is not it is very pricey. I was also very dissapointed with the food. Both options at the hotel are not very good. The cafeteria looks like it is just waiting for a case of food posioning and is very expensive for a low quality meal. I will give them credit for having healthy options but who is going to pay 1.95 for a half black mushy banana. I ate breakfast at the restaurant, food was ok. It was a bit pricey for basic breakfast. The service however was horrible. I had a server named Leslie who only came to the table once and that was to take our order. We had to ask a different server to get us a plastic cup and straw for our one year old as her milk was served in a glass with a stem. We also had to go ask other servers for a coffee refill. This was the first time in my life that i did not tip a server. I would never reccomend anyone stay or eat at this hotel. They take advantage of their location and gouge since you have no other options in the area. This is the least nicest place in Jasper and i would reccomend only coming down to this area once you have done eveything else in the park. You may not get to go on glaciers in other areas but you do get to see them. Going on Glacier is not worth the drive. I hope I save some time and money for other travellers. Vacation time is priceless since you are limited on how much you get and nothing is worse...

I had terrible experience during the stay. ||||Firstly, There was no hot water when my wife was taking a shower. As a result, she got a cold and a mild fever the next day. This directly affected our health and disrupted our travel itinerary. I reported the issue multiple times and waited for hours, but no action was taken and no solution was provided. After a long day of driving, we expected at the very least a hot shower and a comfortable rest—basic amenities that every hotel should guarantee, especially at this price point. This was simply unacceptable||||Secondly, I was locked inside the bathroom twice during the stay. I did not slam the door or use any unusual force. This was very distressing, and I had to call for help on both occasions. Fortunately, the receptionist assisted me, but the fact that this could happen at all—more than once—is a serious safety and maintenance issue that should never be overlooked.||||What's more, Shortly after check-in, just when we wanted to relax, a fire alarm went off and forced all guests to evacuate to the first floor. While I understand and respect safety protocols, the alarm turned out to be a false alarm. What added to the frustration was the complete lack of communication afterward—no explanation or assurance was provided. It left us confused and stressed at the beginning of our stay.||||What was most disappointing of all was the way these issues were handled. After reporting everything, the only response I received was a casual “Sorry, that's the best I can do.” There was no formal apology, no effort to make things right, and no follow-up from any manager or senior staff. It felt like our concerns were dismissed completely.||||I Sent several emails for complain, butthere's no...

Following up on my previous review — shortly after, the front desk called to let us know we could join the hotel bus for both the Skywalk and Ice Walk if we wished. This response was greatly appreciated, and I want to thank the team for reaching out.

That said, I’m not sure if this follow-up was prompted by my Google review. Regardless, my earlier comment still stands regarding how some front desk staff treated customers differently. The difference in attitude and service was noticeable and disappointing. I’ve stayed here before and had a good experience — in June 2024, I booked the Experience Package and had a memorable stay. This time, however, I only booked the hotel with the Pursuit Pass, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. After I booked, all rooms were sold out, so I had expected the same level of service as before.

During check-in, the front desk staff member, June, was courteous and thorough with Caucasian guests — explaining details about the snacks, drinks, amenities, and booking the restaurant. However, when it was my turn, she rushed through the process, didn’t provide any information, and even forgot to give me my room key.

I simply asked if it was possible to get on the hotel bus for the Icefield tour included in the Pursuit Pass, together with other hotel guests. During my last visit — even when the tour was fully booked — there were still many empty seats on the hotel bus, so I thought it was a fair question. Her attitude changed noticeably after I asked, and the interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming.

I hope the hotel can provide more consistent and respectful service to all guests, regardless...
