If you’re looking for a place that meets your BASIC needs then this is the Inn for you. A place to enjoy the nostalgic feelings of your childhood, from the moment you open the door to let yourself in, to the decor that brings you back at least 20 years. The daytime staff are fun too, they play a game called “Hide & Seek” and believe me they are good at it. When you do find them, don’t worry about the pleasantries, they don’t seem to matter. The room was okay, like most rooms, neat and tidy but my favourite part was the luxurious view into the parking lot. The windows were so dirty we were able to open the curtain and didn’t have to worry about anyone peeping in. For those of you, who like cleaning, they do provide multiple areas in the room for your entertainment. I also valued their devotion to conserving water, if you wanted to flush the toilet you would get to stand there and hold the lever down until everything was gone and if you let go too early…you get to wait and start the procedure all over again.|Don’t like hot tubs, perfect, they don’t have one. Are polar plunges more your style, go for a dip in the pool! Does the sound of ice machine in the hallway keep you up all night, again don’t worry, they don’t have one….but wait there’s more. |Have you ever go to an event and it drags ALL night long and everyone seems to be having a great time, drinking, dancing, laughing but all you wanna do is go to bed? Then this is the Convention Centre for you…12AM, last call. Maybe your not exactly tired yet, are you looking for something to do, no problem…bring a black light and reenact a CSI episode in your room, just remember they are pet friendly, so it might not all be human evidence.|Now that is, if you can get into the room, do be careful where you put the key card…or it’s back to the front desk to get it reset again, I was told it was demagnetized because I put it by my cell phone, at least the night attendant was there.|And back to the room, slept well, 3 pillows, they spoiled me. Morning coffee provided in the room was suffice, who needs cream and sugar anyway. Enjoy breakfast in the cafe & eatery, they might get your order right or they might not. And again, don’t worry about the pleasantries, tipping is optional. All kidding aside, check out was easy, as all charges were put through prior to arrival. Would I stay again, probably not….I think I’ll try out one of the newer hotels across the road. Stay tuned for next year’s review on which ever...

Read moreI booked this hotel for a 1 night stop while exploring the area. The hotel was easy to find.||When I checked in, the front desk agent was helpful. He advised that my room was on the 2nd floor and there is NO elevator. So I went up the stairs and walked an extremely long way to find my room. Not sure why I was put so far away, as the hotel seemed nearly empty (based on the few cars in the parking lot).||Unfortunately my room looked nothing like the photos on the hotels website. This room was clearly not renovated, and was very dated. The couch in the room looked quite old. The TV was dangling from the wall. The bathroom was clean but the sink and tub looked to be from the 80s. The bed, however, was clean and comfortable.||The hallways were very dark and dusty. There were a few places where it seemed like they had been doing some work, but just left it unfinished. I saw one place outside my room where there was exposed wiring right in the hallway.||I would like to mention that I arrived right before their kitchen closed, but the waitress was very helpful in getting me dinner and packing it up to bring to my room. That effort was much appreciated, as I was tired and didn't feel like going out to get something.||Overall, this hotel needs some major work, and I don't...
