The price didn't match the value for a one night stay. Pros: the cabin initially feels very cute; the suite is well stocked with shampoos (protip bring these to the hotspring and shower there) Cons: the wood box for the fire was soaked (rain/no cover); the cabin wasn't swept, there were bugs (which initially didn't bother me until they were flocking the nightstand); the water takes several minutes to warm up and didn't seem to get any warmer than 18°c; there's as sign insisting you clean your own dishes (this is where I drop most of my content with this place); the dacore is older than I am; the cabin roof overhang blocks any view you might expect. To summarize you're coming beautiful Fairmont and this place wants to charge you nearly the same price as the resort for a place which isn't super clean to begin with, they want you to clean it yourself and you'll still have to pay if you want to go to the hot springs. If you have no intention of going to the springs and want to cook for yourself, maybe this place will be fine on sunny days, but if you're looking for comfort and convenience with the intent of going to the springs, save yourself some headache and check into the resort. $40 bucks more and you can have a clean room with access to the pool just out your door.

Super cute property of cabins and bungalows. We found this on Google maps and then booked online. We had never been in this area before, but love it! It's beautiful and raw with it's maintains, trees, lakes and so much more! There is a pool on site. We did not try it out, but quite a few people were sunbathing and swimming when we arrived. When we arrived we asked an American question inquiring of any local live music. We had a very candid response, but also very empathizing answer. The answer is no, no live music in town, but the lady at the desk made us feel welcome for asking such a question for ignorance in culture. She was friendly and made us feel welcome. She is very much appreciated, kind, professional, sincere, and friendly.

The website does no justice for the cabins at this property! Nestled right in the mountains, with great views. Private cabins make for a comfortable stay at your own pace. We were able to use both the stove and the barbecue provided. There is also a hot tub and pool on site, with the hot tub remaining open in the winter. The cabin we rented had a fire place and there was also a wood bundle vending machine on the property which made getting wood easy and somewhat affordable compared to the local gas stations. They have one room cabins as well as three room cabins available, all beautifully furnished with lots of space. All super close to Radium, Invermere and lots of camp grounds, trails and lakes to visit close by as well.

I had one of the most traumatic experiences of my life at this property that was completely mismanaged by the ownership. I would never recommend staying here, especially if you have children or any regard for safety.

While walking on property with my newborn baby and my 20 lb dog on leash, we were attacked by two very large dogs. To make matters worse, the owner of these dogs became very aggressive with my husband and I and was threatening to fight my husband and uttering other various threats at us.

More appalling, was the ownership's response to this situation. They felt it was reasonable to allow this individual to stay as long as he kept his dogs inside a small camper for the remainder of the trip. To be clear, the owners of this property were fine with known aggressive dogs who attacked on their property to remain there with children running freely around. Not to mention, the complete lack of assistance in dealing with an intoxicated person uttering threats at us. Ownership said that the dog owner told him we were threatening him, which was completely false and could have been verified by numerous witnesses who saw the attack.

All of this lead to us feeling incredibly unsafe and packing up and leaving at 9 pm at night with our newborn baby. This is not something anyone should have to deal with on vacation. Because the property refused to do anything, we filed a police report. Shame on you, Fairmont Mountain Bungalows, this was truly horrific.

Aside from this situation, the property has very little in place to deal with COVID requirements. Numerous times I witnessed the hot tub packed with people. Our friends cabin was not cleaned when we arrived. It took cleaning staff all of 5 minutes to clean, hardly with the sanitation required today.

The property is falling apart. Roofs are caving in on cabins, there are cabins that looks like they are going to fall over the side of the hill and there are electrical issues throughout. Most of the property smells of sewage. Playgrounds are falling apart. Safety is at a complete disregard at this property and I would stay anywhere else in the area before...

We’ve stayed at Fairmont Bungalows in Fairmont Hot Springs BC several times in the past year. We’ve stayed in 3 bedroom suites down to a Bachelor Cabin this time. All stays have been great, this time is our first in a newly renovated cabin (#8).

Walking in we were both 😳😳 at the first impression of how tiny it was compared to where we’ve previously stayed here (I believe 27 sq meters from their website), no bedroom. OK, we thought, we can work with this. As we sorted all our clobber down we could move around and be organized in such a small space (with our Border Collie 😄), we settled in.

We began to appreciate all the renovations that had been done inside. Wood panelled walls with the original amazing pine floors, pretty curtains that had been made with care and attention in a really beautiful fabric, the bathroom was really nicely renovated too. The owners were obviously striving to make their guests cozy comfortable. The bed mattress was extremely comfortable! While there wasn’t a kitchen per say, they had made a small area on one wall to provide everything we needed: coffee pot, pots and pans, some dishes and cutlery, microwave and small fridge. We were scratching our heads at no stove yet the P&Ps then found a hot plate. Using it, it was very efficient, I was really surprised at that. Nice TV with many channels to watched (we didn’t need to setup our Apple TV 👍🏻). Small kitchen table and 2 chairs.

There is a very nice pool here too, very inviting, appeared newly renovated too. The owners basically pulled out all the stops to accommodate their guests!

The cabin was set in a woodsy setting, away from others so we all had our own peace and quiet.

The gentleman that checked us in was very welcoming and accommodating, as was Jessica on the phone. They appeared to be extremely busy (end of August), no vacancies for weeks from what we saw coming back and forth from our home 6 1/2 hours away…

Albeit tiny, we ended up being very cozy and cared for in the Bachelor Cabin.

I recommend staying at Fairmont Bungalows. And I pass on a big WELL DONE and thank you to the...
