Food was okay. We didn’t feel so great after leaving. I ordered first and my order never got put in so I had to eat some of my friends food and get half my meal to go. We couldn’t enjoy all together. The oil from the fryer tasted a bit old but for needing something close, it did the trick. Also terrible customer service with the answering to these reviews. The story being told isn’t true and I get that this is a trend by reading the other reviews and the way the owner has spoken down to every customer in them. Won’t ever return and we are in this area A LOT.

The first impression is that the place has decor that is sparse with dated furniture, which is noticeable in its large spacious seating area. But we came for the food. So after adjusting to the resort zone sticker pricing we were very please with Fireside Pizza. Tasty with a look of coming out of a fire oven. Loved it. Draft beers on tap are for minimalist who enjoys lighter non-craft. The house white did taste fine. It's a roomy clean place that offers a broad list of menu items in a bare bone, very well lite setting.

Our hockey team had a team pizza party for kids here. The set up here is great for team parties and bringing kids during the day is no problem. We had made reservations here so we had tge place to ourselves. They let us serve ourselves for pop and iced tea. The pizzas had good toppings but the crust tasted like a ftozen pizza crust from a grocery store unfortunately. There aren't many places to choose from in the area for large groups of kids so it is an ok place to come.

Actively Avoid!! Only one server working when our party of three walked in. He spoke very quietly and seemed afraid to be there. The space had the ambiance of restaurant that had been good 15 years ago but new ownership were eager to squeeze out any revenue while saving costs on cleaning or replacing a dated and heavily stained carpet and storage for the construction gear sitting along the wall beside the dart boards. I ordered a local beer from the draft menu and was told that only Kokanee and Keith’s were on tap. Why have a menu of 10 beers on tap if you only serve the same two any dive bar will have? Ended up with water after they didn’t have root beer either. We ordered two pizzas and a burger with soup. It took 32mins for the food to come out. From the time the first dish arrived to the time the 2nd pizza arrived was 5 minutes. The cream of mushroom soup was watery and was only with a couple slurps at best. The burger was a generic patty with mediocre ingredients. The bun was smushed almost flat and it all had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while if the warm, wilted lettuce was at all betraying a mis-timed plating. One pizza was just meh. About what you’d expect from frozen dough and canned ingredients. The other pizza was not what was ordered. When we addressed it, he confirmed the wrong pizza was prepared and offered to cook the right one. As we’d waited nearly 40min already, we declined. Upon going to pay, the bill wasn’t ready as the server hadn’t seemed to ring anything into the computer yet. The incorrect pizza was still on the bill at which I balked. He removed it and seemed surprised when I did not tip. This place was highly recommended by friends who’ve enjoyed meals here in the past. Obviously it’s since changed into hands that are not nearly as competent. Roll up a little further to the BBQ joint in Invermere for some service and food that is worth the money. This place is...

Very rude staff and management, first the waitress was too busy wanting to service customers at the bar instead of paying attention While on the phone with me. She even interrupted me mid sentence, I had to keep repeating myself because she wasn’t paying any attention, she was rude and had an attitude. I was making her aware of a dairy allergy since if you don’t make sure to say dairy allergy then the cooks are unable to read the order that says no cheese, when I arrived she made mention that they wouldn’t give a bun because it had milk on it, I explained that no you can have a bun with a dairy allergy because when the milk is cooked it breaks down the proteins and makes it consumable. She went back and you can clearly see the kitchen through the bars giant double windows and her and the cook are pointing at me and laughing and throwing their hands up. She brings out a cold bun in a bag, and I said that I’ve lived with a dairy allergy my whole life I know how this works and you don’t have to know but you certainly cannot argue or give attitude about something you know nothing about, the customer is always right. She received no tip for her attitude and treatment, and management is no good either because they fully support their staff (this particular staff member has had many poor mentions on her service) to be rude to customers. This business relies on a good name to survive and they’re...

The food is actually not bad at all. Coming from a culinary family, it's reasonably priced and the portions are nothing to complain about. The service though is another story. I recently moved my family into the area for a new job and found the Farside Inn, because of the pandemic I decided it was best to do take out considering my pregnant wife's health as well. I placed an order for pick up and entered the establishment. I sanitised my hands and approached the bar where two staff members were present. They both saw me enter but was not greeted at all or acknowledged. In fact they turned around and continued to do what they were doing. An elderly Caucasian couple walked in and was instantly greeted.. . I had been standing/waiting to be helped for over 10 minutes at that point.. Considering the fact that I am a Korean man born and raised in Canada, I felt extremely uncomfortable and racially profiled by the staff. Funny enough, the couple to my left saw what was happening and I can clearly hear them questioning the staff. Finally I got my order and even decided to leave a nice tip because I really do enjoy their food. I've never felt so unsafe and uncomfortable inside a restaurant before.. . More than anything I was truly disappointed and felt ashamed for being who I was.. I never want to...
