Panorama Springs Lodge — Hotel in Area F (Columbia Lake/Windermere Lake)

Panorama Springs offers a delightful experience. Our stay on the fourth floor, conveniently located by the elevator, provided easy access to the various amenities. To reach the pool area, one must descend to level one and navigate through a corridor to another set of stairs leading down. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by the inviting pools, complemented by two small hot tubs, a spacious main hot tub pool, and a sauna. In the summer, a sprawling pool with a waterslide adds to the excitement. A highlight is the seamless transition from the resort's backside over a bridge to the ski-in-ski-out area, complete with a convenient magic carpet for kids' enjoyment. Further exploration reveals the Discovery Chair and other ski lifts, enhancing the resort's appeal for winter enthusiasts. The second floor boasts a cozy lounge area, adorned with a living room table, and a deck offering a relaxing ambiance. This place is a dump… not even a 1 star hotel rating… besides being old and dated… everything was dirty and in deplorable condition. Even the towels are disgusting… I have seen 2-star hotels with better amenities. We got a 2BR, 2 bathroom, with sofa bed, sleeps 6 and we got 1 miniature bottle of shampoo (1 oz) and 2 miniature soaps… seriously? I called the front desk to request a couple more. Nothing in the kitchen either, not even soap, just two smelly rags and dish soap. The sofa bed had wires sticking out… so not usable! For the prices they charge, they should be ashamed. We should driven the extra few hours and go to Big White, we have paid less...

We took a three day ski trip to Panorama and stayed at the Panorama Springs in one of the units. It's ideal to stay on the hill if you can! We enjoyed the fireplace in the unit, kitchen for breakfasts and lunches and the outdoor pool and hot tub after a hard day of skiing.
