This unique and inspiring home is a real gem - a creative blend of historic and sustainable futuristic, rustic and modern, rugged and refined, understated luxury. The thoughtfully designed, lovingly crafted and beautifully curated spaces surprised and delighted me in every room. The owners have created a nourishing retreat that inspired yoga in the mornings in the bright sunroom overlooking the treetops, cooking in the open modern - centre of the home kitchen with my son, ease-fully checking emails daily at the built-in wood desktop, luxuriating at the end of the day in the deepest, largest soaker tub and being fed by a big embrace in every room from the grounding energy of natural wood. Beautiful hiking and biking trails and the charming town of Cumberland are just a few minutes walk from the front door. Outdoors and in, you are nourished by beauty here. We loved our stay at The Camp House. The house was not only comfortable but also beautifully preserves its heritage with original features blending seamlessly with sustainable modern upgrades.

The outdoor area was a highlight as well. We loved spending time on the deck or the garden patio, perfect for morning coffee or afternoon drinks.

The neighborhood is equally charming, just a short walk (or drive) from restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and trailheads into lush forests and scenic hikes. Communication with Paulina was excellent — she was friendly, responsive, and offered recommendations for dining, local events, and hiking that truly elevated our stay.

Paulina’s camp house is an absolute dream. Our party of 6+1 child enjoyed this home to the fullest. The indoor and outdoor spaces were dreamy and beautifully curated with decor and practical items that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location is also top notch - a quick ride to the trail head for the extensive single track trail network and a short walk to Main Street shopping and restaurants.
