Went to Goderich for the weekend. For dinner, we decided to have some noodles. Ordered 3 different types of Cantonese Chow Mein. The first question, crispy or soft. At that point I was already sold. Ordered 3 different fried rice. Wait time was decent. The food was excellent. Comparable to downtown Toronto restaurants. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended. Service: 4/5. She was courteous and helpful. Dine-in: N/A. But the place was clean and spacious. Enough to social distance when picking up food. Food: 4/5. I would’ve given a 5/5 but I’m leaving it as I’m sure they can improve. Maybe add the sauce of the chow mein on the side or add more sauce when crispy noodles are ordered. No complaints. The family was happy with the food and portion.
FYI, if you’re able to order ahead of time, better. We walked in and grabbed a menu. Came back in and placed the order. Did some errands and came back at the arranged time. It was...

We visited Wing Hong Restaurant while in Goderich, and the food was excellent! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and freshly prepared. The service was friendly and efficient, making the experience very enjoyable overall.

The restaurant is currently surrounded by fencing, and as first-time visitors, we really had to search to figure out where to go. They’re also not offering in-house dining at the moment because of this, which is completely understandable.
None of this is the restaurant’s fault—it’s just unfortunate that the construction is affecting the overall experience. Still, if you're in the area and looking for great takeout, Wing Hong is definitely worth it! Just be prepared to navigate a bit to find...
Read more3.5/5. Food is okay/decent. Door says closes at 7:30 but they stay open until the last customer leaves. Got there around 7 and left about 8, buffet was still out.
Quantity of items, cost, and "higher end service feel" pales against GTA restaurants but they are in a different market so unfair to compare. Price is $15 for sunday dinner and what you get is pretty much AYCE food court stall. 2/5 if in GTA strictly due to competition offerings.
Restaurant is small, and service is more of a buddy buddy feel rather than a professional service driven restaurant feel. They still refilled water and took plates promptly. Would I go again if in the area, likely yes. Quick eat and at $20 with tax and tips, does not...
