Courthouse Park — Attraction in Goderich

The Godrich Court House Park is a Unique feature of Godrich, making it one of the most unique towns in Canada. Godrich has a large traffic circle as its town center. The Court House and park are in the traffic circle. A tornado a few years ago caused significant damage to the park, Court House and many historic buildings in town. The Court House has been restored and the park repaired with new landscaping and features like a bandshell. The park is used for festivals, flea market, and art shows. Steve & Mary's...on Easter Sunday. Corner of Montreal St. The BEST fish & chips EVER..nice crispy edges, totally non greasy fish, chips nicely, lightly seasoned, so fresh!! Very tempted to go back for turkey featured, since Doug's Thursday lockdown no notice threw us all into a frenzy & totally messed up the Easter Turkey dinner plans. Steve & Mary's is a winner - a relative newcomer - open only since late 2019... And yes, Friday is featured Fish & Chip day, but worth every penny any day. Call ahead for covid...

Spectacular. Beautifully preserved and well maintained. The Saturday morning farmers market is not to be missed, we only wish we could've stayed for the Sunday morning Flea Market. The shops are quaint and everything you need can be found somewhere in the square. The shop keepers are super friendly and make you feel like an old friend.
