I have never done this before but I feel I have too. I booked five rooms for two seperate weekends, through the owner. I asked for five rooms for the weekend of Sept 21-23 as well as Sept 28-30. He asked for a credit card number (very usual), then gave me a confirmation number (also very ususal) for my booking. I have just been informed that my booking was cancelled?!?!?!?!!! My reservation was cancelled because I didn't confirm a head count per room. With the end of summer break coming to an end, I asked him to give me the time to contact my team, to see who wanted a room. Without notice, the owner decided to cancel a booked block of rooms for no acceptable reason what so ever. Now I am left without rooms. I contacted him this evening and explained my situation. He was not only unwilling to follow through with our previous agreement, he verbally berated me over the phone. When I originally booked my rooms, he asked me to disregard the negative online comments, as the hotel was under new management. Read moreNovember 2019. This was the most disgusting place I have ever seen. Do not stay there unless your desperate, even then if you own a car, sleep there instead. There were 3 mattresses piled on top of each other for a bed (not even same sizes), and 3 or 4 leaning against wall in hallway. Yes, they have BED BUGS. There was no mirror or towel rack in bathroom. The tub was a dirty with rust around holes. The walls had huge dripping stains. The fridge and microwave were both dirty and did not work well. New white towels brought up to the room had big black stains on them. One day I heard yelling in the hall, I heard a man kicking out some people who were in a room sleeping, who were not paying customers. Would not recommend this place to anyone, ever. UPDATE: 2021. Read moreMy son stayed in room 20 last night. He is covered in bed bug bites. I have never seen anything so bad. The front desk was unbelievably ignorant! "We have no bed bugs" is all he wouild say over and over. Meanwhile, a dozen mattress piled up in the parking lot! Charged $96 with $100 deposit. Demanded his money back but confronted only with rudeness. Front desk also tried to force my son to sign a receipt stating he got his deposit back before he actually got the deposit back. This place should be closed down with hefty fines! I am teporting them to the Hamilton Health Board and the Better Business Bureau Monday morning. Hopeful something will come of it. These ignorant people should be horriblely ashamed! They are disgusting human beings to know the conditions and expose people to them!...
