Quality Inn & Suites — Hotel in Lévis

I made the booking on-line at choicehotels.ca which was easy to do and pay for. Parking was great as the lot is right outside the main entrance and everyone can walk right to the door. The entry way is clean, welcoming and modern with the pool right off the lobby. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful and had us checked in quickly. We visited the pool with our two kids, the pool was clean and the temperature was acceptable. Towels ran out but staff brought more while we were there. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was located at the end of the hall so was quiet (as I had requested at the time of booking). The washroom in the room was not as clean as expected - there were black hairs stuck over the shower curtain and on the floor. This made us feel as though the entire room was not as clean as it should have been. The breakfast was included however there were three household crock pots holding cold scrambled eggs, cold sausages, and soggy cold hash brown potatoes. All three items were unacceptable in presentation and temperature. There were juices, coffee, breads, bagels, muffins, some fruit, and a small fridge with yogurt (these items were acceptable). The silverware tray had long black hair sitting under the silverware - it hadn't just fallen in. Again, this is unacceptable cleanliness for a hotel of this rating. Clean, bright and updated. The rooms were large (we had 2 queen beds). Everything from the lobby, hallways, breakfast area and rooms were clean. Absolutely loved the free coffee and juice 24hrs/day. Not only did they have regular coffee, but they also had hazelnut, french vanilla, espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, about 5 varieties of tea, hot chocolate, oj, apple juice and iced tea. There was a Tim Hortons right next door, but didn't even need to go there as the coffee was excellent at the hotel. The pool was small, more of a splash pool for little ones, but very clean too. They also had a small play area inside and outside for little ones. Great if travelling with young children. Breakfast was very good. Eggs (scrambled and hard boiled), sausages, fruit, yogurt, waffles, toast, bagels, etc. Breakfast area was large enough that we had no problem getting a table. The only issue I had with the hotel was noise from the highway. I am a light sleeper and couldn't sleep because of the noise. Since we stayed there for 3 nights, we asked to be moved to the other side and it was quieter, but I could still hear some traffic noise. However, if you are a moderate to heavy sleeper, this will not be any issue for you. The rest of my family slept well. Beds were comfortable. They also provided ear plugs and a sleeping mask. The quality of this hotel was excellent. The rooms were very spacious, modern, and clean. The staff could not have been more friendly and professional. The breakfast area/seating was excellent and the selection and quality and variety of the included breakfast was excellent. The pool was a bit small but the water was a nice warm temperature. The hotel is conveniently located just off the highway and very close to the ferry terminal which for us (family with 2 children) was great. We would strongly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay at the hotel again if we were to be visiting.

I gave the beds/linens a 9 instead of a 10 only because the pillows are not very large and way to soft for me but having said that I find that at all hotels these days. The bathroom is excellent (even had a small magnifying mirror provided which is an excellent perk); modern, large, and very clean. I rated it a 9 instead of a 10 however because of the very oddly placed shower head. It is not placed in the middle, but to the side??? When rinsing off under it, the water goes out onto the floor of the bathroom because the head is so close to the side. This is not a complaint just an observation of an odd arrangement.
