Beachside Motel — Hotel in Penticton

Wish I could add more people seriously for a motel these days almost all having bad reps this one her I gotta say is top notch I've stayed here alot various reason with my entire family the location I amazing vary quite decent area of pentictone close to a laundry mat if on site services isn't adequate on a day with no heat warning Walmart 711 bulk barn bailey's pet for and two liqure store are in walking distance and beach and park are right out the front driveway beach is cleaned daily. Dog beach in area but you'll need to drive now the rooms depending what your looking for should be able to fit any one or families needs with some rooms offering kitchenettes and two Jacuzzis tub rooms call the the vip suites. The two surrounding motels owned and operated by the same company also are lively place each adding there own style and feel further more adding to one's needs, the front motel when driving in should and will be your first stop not only to pay for your room or check in but also to grab a couple of huge scoops of delicious ice cream from Gilligan's always a great way to cool down this summer aswell sooooo sweet. The rooms are clean and most have been updated beachside having a suana and indoor pool for those that don't like the open waters. And waterfront the last motel before the park and beach has a picture perfect view of the well you know the.... waterfront ofcourse. Now like I was saying earlier the rooms are cleaned every day by there amazing cleaning staff people like Amanda. Aswell a friend of mine only met due to staying here. We'll he's the guy in the shadows keeping things running and safe well if you meet jamie you'll agree hes one hell of a guy. The office staff are some of the kindest people you can meet in this beautiful city know to be one of only two place in the entire world to be situated between two mountain ranges and two water fronts. A must visit note worthy place to visit and here if you want to save a buck and have the best luck doing so this here is your place people. Do not look any further. Come stay with these fine people. And no Scott I'm not going to forget you the man-a-ger well world class guy helped me out in my worst time even though seasons do change and can't always stay I had to go I owed a bit to this guy but not him the company I'm sure it didn't work out in his best interests, but like I said top notch fellow he waited, he understood not many do anymore they refuse to relate. not this guy and don't use this guy as run over this guy cause he's a good person. I stayed here with friends in August 2025 and I have to say the only thing this place has going for it is the location. The furniture is dated (70-80's) which is ok but if you have old furnishings PLEASE be sure you add value by offering CLEAN rooms. Our room was probably the dirtiest room I have come across. We could not sleep, let alone sit on the pull out couch as it was filthy and did not look like it had ever been clean and absolutely stunk of urine. In the corner of the room (close to the floor and not ceiling) there was a big nest of spider webs that looked like it had been there for years (so many dead bugs in the webs), there were dozens of dead bugs on the baseboard heaters and the windowsills. There were dead bugs along the carpeting against the wall. The floors were not vacuumed or washed (it was obvious). The dishes in the cupboard were obviously not checked before we arrived because most of them were in the cupboards dirty. The bathtub was filthy and dead bugs stuck to the walls of the shower. When we went to the front desk to speak to the manager about another issue the front desk clerk lied an said the manager was away until the next day. Another staff member walked in during our conversation and said that was untrue and the manager was there (which we ended up speaking to regarding the other matter). Also, please note there are dogs allowed here which is great, however, owners are not required to keep dogs on a leash (or at least it wasn't enforced) there were a number of large dogs in the courtyard running around without the owners even present (they were in their room). This was the worse motel experience we ever had!!! We feel compelled to inform others of what happened. The reviews with only 1 star are the real reviews the other reviews with 3 and 4 stars may be fake. We stayed for 2 nights and August paying over $550. It was a total ripoff! The room is very outdated and dirty. We can hear a lot of noise coming from the room above - every step! The head of the bed shared an adjoining wall with the laundry room and washing machines were going until past midnight. The towels were black when we wipe the dark coloured laminate flooring. The oven was sprayed with oven cleaner but the oven cleaner was never wiped off! The microwave door cannot be opened without lifting the microwave up as the fridge is blocking it. The sofa bed was sooo old and dirty. We had to buy a new set of bedding to cover it up entirely. The sofa bed sheet was very wrinkly making us to conclude it may have not been changed. The sofa bed creaked every time my son moved. The dinner table was dirty with grim when we wipe it. There is only limited not assigned parking. We complained to the hostess and got a 15% discount . The hostess informed us she would emailed the owners to see if we could more discount. She said she would get back to us on the following week which she never did. We followed up two weeks later and talked to Jody and she told us she would get back back to us but never did. We called again a week later and we spoke to Jody and was informed the owners do not want to give any...
